While Achilles found himself inside a glorious dream where his power surged an incredible octave higher through integration with THE Civilizational Authority that fundamentally transformed his capabilities, he maintained awareness of what was occurring across his other manifestations.

Outside of that dreamscape, he had another Constellation Dream Body that was traveling with none other than Rose across the Shattered Folds as they continued their coordinated campaign against Sanctuaries.

When he looked at her with this particular body’s perspective, he couldn’t help but think that even the ethereal beauty of THE Endless Dream in her elegant humanoid form could not truly compare to Rose!

Perhaps his eyes were simply biased because he adored this woman far too much to maintain objective assessment, but he genuinely believed she outshone entities who had achieved THE significance.

Her vibrant green flaming hair danced in the void around them as ambient authority responded to her presence, and she looked at him with a reserved smile.

“Let me feel how this Civilizational Authority of Dreams tastes like.”

He had been continuously updating her about what his body inside the dreamscape was experiencing while the transformation happened in real time, and right now Achilles had his entire form surrounded by silver-gold waves of sandy brilliance that marked him as bearer of Dream authority.

And since this woman wanted direct experience of exactly what it felt like rather than simple description…

He moved closer and placed his hands around her waist with familiar ease, pulling her against him before giving her a long deep kiss. He consciously transferred waves of the Civilizational Authority of Dreams into her body through the intimate contact, and she began Assimilating the offered power immediately without any hesitation or difficulty.

When the kiss finally broke off after extended moments, Rose tilted her head with characteristic calm grace as her eyes brightened with silver-gold allure that marked successful integration.

“It tastes like…potential crystallizing into inevitability, like standing at crossroads where all futures converge before diverging again. Its good..” Her voice carried measured appreciation.

Achilles smiled at her analysis as he shook his head while replying.

“This encounter and opportunity with THE Endless Dream has vastly expanded what we are capable of accomplishing, and it has also given us much clearer understanding of exactly what kind of enemies we actually face.” His tone became more serious.

“Imagine these really old fuckers who were actually born already existing at higher Scale of Existence without needing to cultivate their way upward, then spending eons fighting with each other and collapsing their own Civilizations entirely through mutual destruction, and now they want to coordinate efforts specifically to bully someone who hasn’t even reached that same Scale as them yet?”

Rose laughed with genuine amusement at his framing of the situation, and she hugged his arm with affectionate gesture while her voice carried playful mockery toward their enemies.

“Yes, they should simply remain perfectly still and accept their fate as you systematically devour every single ounce of their precious Civilizations. They all just need to make things easy and convenient for my Little Fatty rather than struggling uselessly against inevitable consumption.”

Achilles smiled at her joking words even as he sighed with genuine concern about complications that had been troubling him, and his expression became more contemplative.

“Father and the other resurrected Adrastia Emperor Kings probably feel like they’re being left out when it comes to these wars and battles between Civilizations, and I know they want to contribute more directly to our campaigns.” His voice carried weight.

“But the danger level has risen so dramatically that they would need to Assimilate tremendous quantities of authority while carefully controlling their Existence Corruption Value to remain effective. Even I, who has never been particularly worried about Corruption accumulation due to my unique constitution, almost exceeded fifty percent threshold because of Assimilating authority that existed at fundamentally higher Scale than my current level.”

He paused before articulating the core concern.

“To the point that I absolutely cannot Assimilate anything for the next little while, while my existence stabilizes. When it comes to Father and the others, I do not wish to endanger their lives by pushing them into situations where Corruption could become critical issue. Even if they are only sending out their Constellation Dream Body clones to participate, the monsters belonging to different Civilizations could possess variety of esoteric means that may cause damage to transfer back all the way to their main bodies regardless of distance or separation.”

After he voiced this worry about family safety, Rose’s eyes shone with sudden light of ingenuity.

“Let me take care of this complication. I will examine their current genetic configurations and see if I can modify their fundamental structures a bit more to enhance their Corruption resistance and recovery rates.”

She said such words with the same tone someone might use to discuss minor household repairs rather than fundamental alterations to beings’ essential nature, and Achilles nodded with complete faith in her capabilities.

“Oh, we are here.”

They had arrived at their designated target location after crossing vast distances through the void, and before them floated another Veiled Necrocratic Sanctuary.

Though this time before they proceeded…Achilles held Rose back.

“Let me test out a new ability granted by the Civilizational Authority of Dreams. I’ll put the entire Sanctuary’s population to sleep through imposed dreaming, and you can simply walk in unopposed to Assimilate all of them without needing to engage in actual combat.”

Rose smiled gently, but her eyes shone with ravenous light of anticipation about the opportunity to consume so many beings simultaneously.

She positioned herself beside her partner whose entire body began to shine with scintillating silver-gold light of Dreams as he prepared to demonstrate his new power at Pre-THE!

A dangerous couple who had originated from a tiny colony city in an unremarkable region, with one of them having been literally on their deathbed in a hospital not too long ago in objective timeframes.

And now they traveled across the impossible gulfs of the void between Shattered Folds as they systematically devoured and Assimilated Sanctuaries belonging to Civilizations that had been continuously present for billions of years.

It was a genuinely terrifying sight to witness when one considered the implications of how rapidly they had ascended from near-death obscurity to posing existential threat!
