Capítulo 674: Luo Qingling: Worried.

“I finally found her.”

Luo Huian stepped inside the small room, which had been locked up with a large lock. With a quick twist of the key, she was able to open the door and enter the tiny room that was only fit for someone as small as Yuan Yuan. Luo Huian looked at the white fox lying on the floor and heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that the chest of the little fox was rising and falling. She had no idea what kind of drug those people used on the two of them.

She was an immortal, and even if her body was not as strong as it used to be in the past, it was still better than a dungeon spirit. Luo Huian was worried that this little dungeon spirit would end up getting hurt because of the drug. Now that she had seen the little fox doing well, she was quite relieved.

I can just pick her up and leave, but… Luo Huian paused and looked behind her. If she left now, then others would soon realise that the mess above was caused by her, and then there would be countless questions. There was no way she could tell them that she was an immortal banished by the heavens and that she could only use her powers when she was facing evil and wicked. If she dared to say those words, Luo Qingling would certainly kill her for occupying the body of her precious sister.

Thinking about it like this, Luo Huian felt a bit sad, but she didn’t feel sad for long. As long as she could enjoy the affection of the Luo family, she didn’t care about anything.

Luo Huian walked inside the small room and then crouched down to pick up Yuan Yuan. She took a good look at the white fox and poked her in the forehead. “You heartless thing, I have been looking for you all over the place, and you are sleeping peacefully? Do you even have a heart?”

After she finished speaking, Luo Huian curled her lips and raised the fox in the air. She stared at her face and remarked, “Well, you do look cute when you are sleeping like this.” Her gaze softened as she remarked, “It’s a good thing that you didn’t die, or else I would have burned this entire ship down along with those idiots. At least giving them a peaceful death didn’t go to waste.”

After she finished speaking, Luo Huian placed the fox in her lap and started caressing it. She closed her eyes and then leaned against the wall behind her. Even though Luo Huian was not a human, she was still tired after taking down more than sixty people all on her own. Once she closed her eyes, she ended up falling asleep.

“Look for them! Arrest all the kidnappers. Don’t leave even a single one behind.”

“Head to the south. The ones behind me go to the east and the rest follow me.”

A burst of footsteps followed by a bunch of commanding orders echoed in the silent corridors of the ship. But as the woman leading the rank B hunters moved past the silent path in front of her, she couldn’t help but feel that there was something wrong. Why was this ship so silent? Why didn’t they meet with even a single kidnapper or guard? It was as if they were walking on a Ghost ship.

“This is weird. Why is there no one rushing to stop us?” one of the hunters couldn’t help but question. Her face held a frown on her face as she turned to look around the entire ship. There was too much silence. It was way too quiet for being the lair of kidnappers.

“You are right, we were not at all gentle with our actions and yet no one came to stop us.” Another hunter agreed. Her eyes were sharply looking around the rooms, but nothing. There was nothing that she could count as a trap.

However, just as they turned around a corridor, the leader raised her hand and said, “Careful. I can smell the scent of blood; it seems like whoever we are looking for is right in front.”

As soon as she finished speaking, everyone turned alert. They activated their skills and were prepared for a bloody battle, but as soon as they rushed forward, the sight in front of them shocked them.

Corpses.

Twisted. Mutilated and bloodied.

All kinds of corpses were lying in front of them. The layer of blood was so thick that they couldn’t even see what kind of colour the floor had.

Everyone sucked in a breath, and the hunters turned to look at their leader.

“Leader, what is this?” One of the brave women who snapped out of the shock upon seeing so many corpses turned to look at the leader of the team. “How come these people died on their own?”

“How can they have died on their own?” The leader snapped. She turned to look at the situation around and said, “This matter is not as simple as it looks. Someone go and call Leader Luo. We have to investigate this ship carefully.”

“I will go,” A hunter turned around on his feet and rushed upstairs.

Luo Qingling had just arrived with Duan Jia Xu and the Xue siblings. She was talking with Bai Shiliu, who relayed everything that she knew about the ship.

“There is something weird about this ship. We came here fifteen minutes ago, and not a single kidnapper rushed upstairs to stop me or anyone else. It’s way too silent, which looks really eerie.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Luo Qingling frowned. She could not understand how such a thing could be possible unless they were in the wrong place. She turned to look at Xue You, who shook his head and solemnly stated, “Thats not possible. The soul of that woman led us here, which meant that this is definitely the correct place.”

“Then–”

“Leader Luo, it’s terrible! Everyone on this ship is dead!” the hunter who came to look for Luo Qingling shouted. His loud voice echoed throughout the silent ship, and Luo Qingling, who was surveying the dock, turned and looked at the hunter sharply. Her gaze was so sharp that it made the hunter who came to alert her pause and shudder in fright. He lowered his head and didn’t say anything.

Gosh, that gaze of Leader Qingling really scared me.

“What did you say? Who died?” Luo Qingling asked hurriedly. She walked over to the hunter and questioned, “What in the world do you mean by everyone is dead? How can everyone on the ship be dead?”

“Everyone on the ship is dead, Leader Luo,” The hunter was scared, but he still replied, “There are corpses everywhere. Leader Chu doesn’t dare to move forward without your permission and has sent me to ask you what to do with the current situation.”

When Luo Qingling heard that everyone on the ship was dead, her face turned dark. How could this be possible? If everyone were dead, then what about Luo Huian? Was her sister alright?

Luo Qingling was worried about Luo Huian; thus, she didn’t even waste another second and rushed down to the ship and met with Leader Chu. The woman was standing in front of a room that was covered in nothing but blood and more blood. It was so bloody that the smell made even Luo Qingling choke. She glanced at the space and her heart tightened. So many people died…could Luo Huian even withstand what happened here?

“Is …Is Luo Huian here?” Luo Qingling asked while silently hoping that there were no signs of Luo Huian. If something happened to Luo Huian, then she too wouldn’t be able to stay alive.

Leader Chu raised her head and shook her head. She replied, “There are no traces of Miss Huian, Leader Qingling. You can rest assure.” However, for how long, Leader Chu had no idea about that. She wondered if Luo Huian could even survive such a dangeorus situation. Everyone on the ship was either dead or was breathing their last. There was not a single suvrivor who could tell them what happened here.

When Luo Qingling heard that Luo Huian was not here, she heaved a sigh of relief but at the same time she was scared about Luo Huian and her situation. No news was a piece of good news. However, she was scared out of her wits.

She immediately commanded, “Go and search the entire ship. I don’t care how long you have to look for her, but bring Luo Huian back to me. If she is alive, I want to see her face; if she is dead, then… I need to see her corpse.” those words were hard enough to think about and saying them out loud was even more difficult and Luo Qingling didn’t dare to think what she might even do if Luo Huian was dead.
