Chapter 672: Luo Huian: Where is Yuan Yuan?

“What happened?” The two women who were sitting next to the woman who was sent flying jumped to their feet. They turned and looked at the bloodied face of the woman and turned to look at one another. Their eyes mirrored their shock and terror.

“You didn’t do anything?”

“Of course, I wouldn’t dare to make trouble at this moment!”

She would never do something so stupid. How could she? This was how they were going to earn a quick sum of money. By causing mistakes at this juncture, like fighting back, they would be the ones who would suffer at the hands of those who were paying to get Luo Huian and that dungeon spirit?

“Then who—ack!” The woman had hardly finished speaking when something pierced through her skin. A trail of blood dripped down her lips as she lowered her head and looked down at the shiny metal that was poking out of her stomach. From the looks of it, it was a dagger. “Oww.”

The woman muttered and fell on the ground of the vessel they were in at the moment. Seeing this, the other woman wanted to escape, but before she could even take another step, her throat was slit, and she too died without seeing the face of the person who had killed her.

Luo Huian stared at the two women who died with their eyes open and shook her head. She didn’t feel that there was anything wrong with what she did. These people were the ones who came after her when she was just trying to survive.

Heading out of the room, she walked down the corridor. Killing everyone who came in her path without stopping.

With Xiao Hei and Xiao Bai helping her, Luo Huian easily cleared the guards who were patrolling.

Soon, the three of them arrived at the room that these guards were guarding. Luo Huian raised her feet and kicked open the door without hesitation. As soon as she kicked the door open, the woman inside jumped to her feet. Her eyes widened in shock.

“Who is it? Who are you?” she dumbly asked.

“You brought me here, and you are asking me who I am?” Luo Huian tilted her head to one side and carefully looked around the room. Her lips curled up when she saw the many defence items this woman had kept close to her. “Now tell me, where is my dungeon spirit? Compared to those idiots, it seems like you have more information regarding this entire situation.” This woman was the only one who had all the comfort and accommodation facilities in the team, which showed her status. She must be the most powerful one among them all; that was the only explanation for the resources that she had been given among the rest. And since she was the strongest, it went without saying that she must be the only one who had the key to wherever Yuan Yuan was locked up.

“You… how did you get here?” The woman picked up the can of beer that she was drinking and hurled it at Luo Huian, who tilted her head to the right and dodged the weapon that was hurled at her. She glanced at the woman who was glaring at her and raised a brow. “What do you think you are doing? That can seriously hurt someone.”

Luo Huian spoke to the woman as if she were speaking to a child, causing the woman to flush red. “How did you get out?”

“Does that even matter?” Luo Huian raised the corner of her lips and then stated with a soft smile, “I managed to get out of that small room where you locked me up; that is what is important. Isn’t it?”

She then walked inside the small room and said to the woman, “Now back to the question that I was asking you. Where is Yuan Yuan?”

“You should have escaped.” The woman ignored the question that Luo Huian was asking her. “You were lucky that you somehow managed to escape from the small room but you should have run away instead of coming to look for me. How dare an F class like you cause trouble for someone of the higher ranks? You are simply foolish if you think you can just walk in brazen as brass and then step out of this room alive.”

“That dungeon spirit? That is going with us no matter what. So you better forget about her. Even if I have the key—what about it? Can you even take it away from me?”

The woman sneered. Her voice turning a bit shrill as she summoned a pair of metal dogs.

“But if you think you can do anything to me—then you need to think twice because there is no way you are going to win against me!” The woman raised her hand and said to the two metal dogs. “Go!”

The two metal dogs stepped forward as they lunged at Luo Huian together. Seeing this, the woman was even more excited. “You are going to regret even coming here, Luo Huian. Just wait—”

The woman was still speaking when one of the dogs that attacked Luo Huian was sent flying back. It knocked her off her feet, while the other ended up getting smashed against her head.

The woman: “….”

“Give me the keys before I lose my temper with you…” Luo Huian said to the woman in a bored voice. “I don’t want to spill any more blood, but if you force my hand, then I will have no other choice but to do it the hard way.”

“Blood… what blood—” the woman’s eyes fell on the specks of blood, both big and small, something that she had not noticed earlier. Her eyes widened in shock as she raised her head and looked at Luo Huian. How… how did the woman –

“Who did you kill?”

“Why ask a question when you already know the answer to it?” Luo Huian softly cooed at the woman. “You know whose blood this is and there is no point in asking about it. After all, you are a smart woman.”

The woman stared at Luo Huian. Her eyes burned with rage as she lunged at Luo Huian only to be punched in the gut.

“Oh, the tragedy; it’s really troublesome.” Luo Huian muttered in a bored voice as she looked down at the woman who was staring at her in shock.

Of course, she was. She was the one who was getting punched in the guts and she was the one who was getting beaten up, so why was Luo Huian the one who was muttering about feeling tired and troubled? This woman… could she even think and look at the situation before saying such things? She had to be kidding her!

“You–” the woman spat a mouthful of blood as she dropped to her knees, right in front of Luo Huian. It looked like she was paying her respect to Luo Huian. Luo Huian curled her lips and said to the woman, “There is no need for you to show me such a grand gesture of respect. I know that you are sorry for what you have done but you can always make up for it by telling me where is my spirit?”

The thug raised her head. Her arms were wrapped around her waist and she was looking at Luo Huian with a gaze that swore nothing but revenge if she somehow managed to escape from this mess. “You will pay for it—”

“AHHH!”

The woman screamed when Luo Huian kicked her in the stomach, sending her convulsing against the wall behind her. Her eyes rolled back in their sockets as she crumpled on the floor like soggy paper.

“I will think about whether I am going to regret this or not later on but for now. Tell me where Yuan Yuan is. quickly, don’t waste any more time.” Luo Huian said to the woman, sounding quite impatient, and she was indeed running out of patience. She raised her head and looked at the time on the clock and frowned harder. “My sister might already be on her way to this place. You’d better tell me the truth, or else we both will be in trouble.”

“Luo Huian, you… You are a monster!” the woman cursed out loud. “You clearly have no weapons, no skills and nothing that can protect you, but you still – gahh!” the woman screamed when Luo Huian raised her hand and knotted her fingers into the locks of the woman’s hair. “I was not going to drag this torment for longer than a few minutes, but it seems like you are not going to listen to what I told you.”

She raised the woman in the air and smiled sweetly. “Since you are so hardcore, then we are going to do this the hard way.”
