Chapter 664: You Ruojin : Getting Bullied

Luo Huian choked on the sip of water that she had taken and turned to look at Xiao Hei in shock. “What do you mean? Why would he join my guild?”

Xiao Hei turned and flicked his tongue at Luo Huian. “His guild is bound to fall in the upcoming days. There will be an internal strife that will lead the guild leaders and Tian Lisong to fall out with one another. Without Tian Lisong caring about the guild, it will not take long for them to fall.”

When You Ruojin heard her response, she was not even surprised; that was how the woman had been treating her ever since Luo Huian left her here. She didn’t want to cause trouble for Luo Huian; thus, she didn’t dare to tell her what was happening in the office, but that was only making these people even bolder. Because why else would they treat her so casually? They didn’t even tell her when important meetings were being held. They would leave her behind, and when it was some sort of errand, they would push her to the front without asking her if she even wanted to do it.

You Ruojin, however, still didn’t dare to tell Luo Huian anything. She was worried that it would only make her relationship with her colleagues even more strained. Because she knew that Luo Huian would definitely come banging in and deal with those who bullied her.

Sighing, You Ruojin nodded and then headed out of the cabin when she heard someone tethering. She turned and looked at the woman who was laughing at her.

When the woman saw her looking, not only was she abashed, but she also curled her arms in front of her and arched a brow. “You Ruojin, how long are you going to waste the time and resources of our departments? You should just resign and walk out with whatever respect and dignity you are left with; at this point, it is simply embarrassing that you want to keep working.”

You Ruojin pursed her lips; she was about to ignore the woman, but then she recalled what Luo Huian had told her. She paused and turned to look at the woman. “Xu Yiyi, instead of telling me what I should and should not do, you should try to control those unruly hands of yours. How many times mers of the department complained that you had groped them? Do you think that I have no idea about?”

“I am only wasting the resources, but you are wasting the air of the world. You don’t hear me complaining about it, do you?”

After she finished speaking, You Ruojin turned around and walked past Xu Yiyi, whose temper flared up. She turned around and glared at the woman who had dared to talk back to her, but before she could chase after her, she was held back by her friend.

“Why did you stop me?” Xu Yiyi turned around and demanded it from her friend.

Her friend raised her hands in the air. She said, “Woah, there is no need for you to get angry with me. I am only trying to save your arse; you are forgetting that she was brought to the department by Miss Huian. It’s one thing if you taunt her, but if you hurt her, then Miss Luo Huian will not stay quiet.”

“Humph, who cares!?” Xu Yiyi crossed her arms as she huffed, but inwardly, she was indeed worried about what Luo Huian might do to her if she hurt You Ruojin. At the same time, she was really envious of You Ruojin. If she had a backer like her, then she would be standing tall in this department. “Is that what it looks like?” Senior Xie raised her head and looked at An Yang. She quirked a brow and said, “Take a look at her blueprints before saying anything to me.”

An Yang frowned and then picked up the blueprint. One by one, she noticed the details that were getting better with each design. The latest design was so good that if they really were a toy shop factory, then it would sell for a good sum of money.

“This..”

Senior Xie placed the pen in her hand on the table and stated in a soft voice, “That girl has a lot of raw talent, but we need to refine it. We cannot ask her to make weapons right away, but what we can do is teach her through this method. As long as I ask her to continue making designs for toys, it shouldn’t take long for her to make weapons that will shake the entire country.” She turned her head and looked at You Ruojin. “I am afraid that if I praise her, the others would double up their efforts while bullying her.”

“So you knew that they were bullying her?” An Yang leaned back against the wall and looked at the woman in front of her. “And here I thought that you were unaware of everything.”
