“With mirrors and toys that would likely grab the attention of one’s pet and monster meat that can make even a well-fed cub feel hungry, even a well-trained pet would end up losing their motivation to finish this maze!” A mer dressed in a tuxedo was speaking while watching the white fox zipping through the maze that was created especially for the beast. They even added some additional features to make sure that the beast would have a hard time getting out of the maze.

However, even with the additional feature, Yuanyuan didn’t take more than a minute to walk past the maze and finish the task that was given to her.

The fox let out a whine as she rushed to where Luo Huian was standing. Little confetti exploded all over the two of them just as Luo Huian picked up the little fox. She looked down at the little one, who was puffing out her chest and looking at her with a smug look on her face, waiting for Luo Huian to praise her. When she didn’t say anything, Yuanyuan raised her paw and smacked her on the face.

“Alright, you did a really good job,” said Luo Huian when she saw the little fox purring and slapping her face with her paw. She caught her paw and stared down at the fox. “Now stop hitting me, what will others think, huh?”

‘Kyuu’, Yuanyuan frowned and rubbed her head against Luo Huian while the anchor cheered for the two of them.

“Everyone, please put your hands together for Yuanyuan! She has completed the task in less than three minutes. A record that no one has been able to break before. It seems like the spirits of dungeons are something else.”

“Thank you, everyone.” Luo Huian bowed politely when she heard the audience clapping for her and Yuan Yuan.

As for why she was even here? After she returned home from her date with Fan Meilin, Madam Han came looking for her. She told her that they needed to prepare for the shoot, as the programme was pushed forward due to the sudden surge of voting, where the netizens asked the recording team to start shooting already. Because of this, the actor who was supposed to be shooting this week’s episode was shifted to next week, while Luo Huian was asked to start shooting as soon as possible.

In the end, Luo Huian had no choice but to come here. Though she had no desire to show her face to the people around the world, as she was strong enough to deal with anyone who tried to kidnap her, she still listened to Madam Han, as she knew that the woman only meant well.

Yuan Yuan tilted her head to one side and looked up at Luo Huian.

“I have never seen a monster as cute as her before. To be able to witness her cuteness from so close – it’s really the best moment of my life.”

Luo Huian looked at the fox, who was getting more and more smug with the praises that were being showered on her. Her lips twitched upon seeing the smug expression of the fox. She knew that this little one loved the attention, but she never thought that this little one loved attention so much. Talking about attention, she wondered what that attention-seeking mer was doing.

“Excuse me?”

Luo Huian turned and looked at the mer who was standing behind her. “Yes?”

“Can I take a photo of Yuan Yuan? Ah, don’t worry, I will not misuse the image,” the mer raised the phone in his hands and smiled at Luo Huian politely. His eyes flickered with little stars as he stared at Yuan Yuan.

“Alright,” Luo Huian noticed the affection and adoration that the mer had for Yuan Yuan and allowed him to take a few photos of the little one.

“Thank you!” The mer exclaimed gratefully, as he didn’t expect Luo Huian to agree. He happily snapped a few pictures and then bowed to both Luo Huian and Yuan Yuan before taking his leave.

However, just as the mer turned around and left, Luo Huian was soon surrounded by several more people.

“Miss Luo—”

The crowd didn’t even say a word, and Luo Huian understood what they wanted from her with just one look at their shiny eyes. She sighed and went to put the little fox on the floor, but Yuan Yuan climbed right back up, as she was not used to staying between so many people. Especially those who were strangers.

When everyone saw that Yuan Yuan was scared, they didn’t find it offensive; if anything, they only found her even cuter. Letting out a bunch of really impressed sighs, one of the mers said to Luo Huian, “It’s okay, Miss Luo. You can continue holding Yuan Yuan. We will click some images and then leave.”

Luo Huian: “…”

That’s what I am afraid of.

Luo Huian wanted to refuse, but seeing the overly enthusiastic attitude of the crowd, she could only continue holding the little fox, and that was where Luo Huian made the biggest mistake. Because of the photographing and admiring, it took more than three hours for Luo Huian to sit down. By the time she got a chance to take a breath, her legs had turned into jelly. She plopped down on the chair and looked down at the little fox in her arms.

She said to her, “Should I start fan merchandise for you? That way, I will be able to earn quite a lot of money.” Luo Huian remarked. She had taken a look at the popularity of Yuan Yuan, and from the looks of it, the little guy was even more popular than her and Luo Qingling. If she started fan merchandise, then she would be able to earn some money.

“Ah, are you thinking about opening a site to sell merchandise? Should I help you?” A voice spoke from behind, and Luo Huian turned to look behind her.

“Master Tian.” Luo Huian jumped to her feet in shock as the mer was standing way too close to her. “What are you doing here?”

“Hello, it’s me.” Tian Lisong smiled at her. He looked at the little monster standing next to Luo Huian and hissing at her before replying to Luo Huian’s question, “It seems like you are not aware of the rule.”

“What rule?” Luo Huian asked as she patted her chest, trying to control her heartbeat that was getting out of control because of the shock that she had received all of a sudden.

“Whenever a monster is present in a place, there need to be five high-ranking hunters. Ranging from B to S, since I was free, I came to see you.” Tian Lisong played with the rosemary beads on his wrist and looked at Luo Huian with a hint of a smile on his face. “Now, are you going to start a merchandising site?”

Luo Huian rubbed the back of her neck. She had no idea what this mer was trying to do, so she simply shrugged and stated, “I haven’t thought about it yet.” Even if she wanted to open a site to sell some merchandise, she would ask Luo Qingling to help her. Why would she ask a stranger to help her out?

Tian Lisong smiled at Luo Huian. He clasped his hand behind his back and looked at Luo Huian before saying to her, “Ah, there is no need for you to be so wary of me. After all, we will be partners very soon.”

“What do you mean?” Luo Huian frowned, not understanding the meaning of the mer.

“Hah? Did you forget already? You are going to raise my baby in a few days.” The mer had just finished speaking when the entire studio fell into silence. Everyone turned to look at the two of them, and Luo Huian could almost see the crow flying over her head. The caws were exceptionally loud!

Her eyes twitched as she roared, “A monster baby! Add the fucking adjective in front of it!”

“Ahahha!” Tian Lisong clapped his hands when he heard Luo Huian lose it; he tilted his head to one side and then said to her, “Is it that important for you?”

“Of course it is!” Luo Huian stated through gritted teeth. “Do you think it is fun to spread rumours like this? What will others think?”

Luo Huian and Tian Lisong were both public figures, and if they were not careful, then even the smallest thing could make a small flame into a raging fire. The last thing she wanted was another set of rumours to start, about how she impregnated the leader of a top guild.

Tian Lisong’s smile widened when he heard Luo Huian’s words. He curled his lips and leaned forward to peer right into Luo Huian’s eyes, “My. You really know how to speak your mind. Are you not scared of me, Miss Luo?”
