Capítulo 995: Revealed

Soon, four more Golems were summoned by others.

In just a few moments, they all slowly moved forward to face the Armored Tyrant Zombie that was also Shane…

“Kill that thing!”

“Crush him to pieces!”

“Die Zombie!”

They knew the strength of these Zombies. Each swing of their arms was heavy enough to crush ordinary zombies.

Soon, they moved to block Shane’s path with their fists raised.

“Let’s see you handle this!” Hendryx shouted.

The first golem slammed its fist down, and the impact shook the ground. Shane relied on his barrier and absorbed the blow…

“So strong…” Shane admitted.

Then he shoved the creature back with brute force. The second golem then swung from the side, but Shane easily dodged, even with his massive frame. After all, despite transforming, he was agile, and so, he easily countered with his bone-covered fist.

Crack!

The golem staggered, its stone chest fractured.

“He’s breaking them apart!” one of the survivors cried.

Shane’s aura flared, his monstrous roar echoing again.

The suppression field continued to weaken as it was unable to contain him. His shields held firm, absorbing the combined attacks of Hendryx, the guards, and the summoned golems!

Hendryx’s lightning surged again, striking Shane directly. Sparks danced across his body, but the undead transformation resisted the paralysis.

“This isn’t possible…” Hendryx muttered, sweat dripping down his face. “Even a Tyrant King Zombie shouldn’t be this resilient.”

Shane’s eyes locked onto him this. He stepped forward, crushing one of the golems with a single blow, shards of stone scattering across the ground.

The defenders faltered after seeing that happen. They knew that the Zombie was just too strong.

“He’s not just a zombie king…” Hendryx whispered… “He’s something else entirely. Tsk…”

Shane’s Zombie form advanced with overwhelming presence that scared the group…

The outpost’s trap had failed, their skills had been resisted, and even their summoned golems were crumbling one by one against the mysterious Zombie!

The defenders rallied despite their fear.

Hendryx clenched his fists as arcs of lightning crawled across his arms and he gave orders.

“Don’t back down! Focus your strikes on the joints! Bring that monster down!”

The remaining golems continued moving forward, their stone fists hammering against Shane’s barriers. Each impact shook the ground, sending cracks through the dirt. However, it was not enough!

Shane’s overlapping defenses absorbed the blows, and it was too strong!

Shane’s monstrous form didn’t give in. His eyes swept across the defenders, remembering the Spirit Stone mine they had destroyed, the Silver Mine Camp they had sieged.

Mercy wasn’t an option.

He charged forward and smashed into one of the golems.

Crack! The stone guardian’s arm shattered, with its fragments scattering across the battlefield.

“Keep pressing! Don’t let him break through!” Hendryx shouted, slamming his palm against the ground.

[ Thunder Palm Lv6 ]

A surge of electricity burst outward…

It didn’t end there!

[ Stormbreaker Lv7: Summons a concentrated lightning storm within a 20-meter radius, dealing continuous damage. Cost: 180 SP ]

The sky above the outpost crackled as bolts of lightning started raining down. The defenders cheered as arcs of electricity struck Shane repeatedly.

However, Hendryx lashed at them, ordering them to continue attacking.

“Yes, boss!”

“Blazing Slash!” another survivor roared with his sword igniting as he swung. The blade carved across Shane’s chest, leaving a glowing scorch mark, but the wound closed almost instantly under the effect of his defensive tokens.

“Stonebreaker Strike!” a hammer wielder shouted as he slammed his weapon into Shane’s leg. The impact shook the ground, but Shane barely staggered.

He turned, grabbed the man by the shoulder, and threw him into a wall. Boom!

Hendryx gritted his teeth, sweat dripping down his face. He unleashed another skill.

[ Lightning Surge Lv5: Channels raw electricity through the body, releasing a concentrated blast forward. Cost: 300 SP]

Bang! A bolt of lightning shot from his hands, slamming into Shane’s torso.

The undead form stepped back under the impact, but it was not enough. Shane simply stepped forward, with his aura flaring stronger.

“Damn… This thing is too weird! How is he tougher than a Zombie Lord!” Hendryx cursed.

“Tsk you better drop something good once you’re killed.”

“For the loot!”

“Kill!”

Shane roared again, the sound echoing across the outpost.

[ Dreadful Roar ( Active ): Unleash a deafening roar to strike terror into the hearts of enemies and cause nearby zombies to tremble in fear. Cost: 100 Spirit Points for each use. ]

The suppression field cracked further, unable to contain his presence anymore. He smashed another golem apart that was just summoned…

He was unstoppable!

“Fall back! Regroup!” one of the defenders shouted, but Shane was already upon them. His massive body moved really fast for its size. Then, he started swatting aside blades and hammers alike.

One survivor tried to stab him with a spear, but Shane caught the weapon mid-thrust, snapped it in half, and slammed the man into the dirt.

Another swung desperately, pouring Spirit Points into his strike, but Shane crushed his wrist with terrifying strength.

Hendryx stood his ground, lightning surging around him. “I won’t let you destroy this outpost!” he shouted, unleashing his strongest skill.

[ Storm Lv10: Summons a Storm hated by Zombies! Cost: 500 SP. ]

The sky above the outpost darkened even more… There was no more moonlight that wasp reviously giving them some vision…

Soon, bolts of lightning rained down.

Unlike the Stormbreaker, this lightning wasn’t focused on his area but it completely targeted him! The ground shook as arcs of electricity struck Shane repeatedly.

The defenders cheered, thinking the storm might finally weaken him.

But Shane’s shields flared, absorbing the storm once again.

His undead body resisted the paralysis… He advanced step by step…

But this time, Shane’s transformation was finally cancelled as he revealed himself…

“Impossible… You’re a human all along…” Hendryx whispered, his face pale.

He didn’t expect that the Zombie they were fighting was just a Survivor Ability!

Still, this was their only chance! Now that the man had reverted to his original form, they could finally kill this intruder!

“Kill him now before he can transform again! Hurry!”
