Shane inspected the items one by one, starting with the crown, since this was actually a rare item. It wasn’t every day that he could see a Crown item.

This headpiece item wasn’t really a common one… and Shane knew that they had a huge market. After all, they could basically wear two headpiece items… Like a mask and a crown together, and there wouldn’t be a problem stacking their effects most of the time.

After all, he would soon attack the main base of the Overlord Clan. If he wanted it to be easier for his team, he needed such items equipped for his team.

He then examined the armor, its scales glistening faintly.

In the meantime, the surviving members of the Overlord Clan staggered back into their outpost station after three hours of desperate flight.

From the original twelve, only five remained.

The others nodded grimly. “We summoned the Zombie Lord to finish him off, but we don’t know if it worked. We had no choice but to retreat…”

They then explained how they soon got feedback that it was killed after a few minutes while they were escaping…

The outpost leader’s expression darkened… “You wasted resources, lost seven men, and burned through Haste Scrolls we couldn’t produce anymore. And in the end, you don’t even know if the man killed the Zombie Lord or it was someone else?”

The survivors lowered their heads, shame and fear weighing heavily on them.

The leader slammed his fist against the table. However, there was nothing he could do right now…

Silence filled the room, broken only by the leader’s heavy breathing.

Just then, a scout rushed in, holding a fresh report.

“Sir… news from the northeastern coast. A new shelter has been established. They call it Blue Haven. It’s growing fast, attracting survivors from nearby ruins.”

The leader’s eyes narrowed. “Blue Haven…?” He leaned back, his mind already calculating. “If this shelter is connected to that unknown man, then it must be crushed before it gains influence. We cannot allow a rival power to rise.”
