Chapter 937: The New Advanced Shelter

Tundra and the others had then decided to claim this land for themselves and settle here.

Of course, he already sent a message to Shane about this matter. After talking to him through the chat for several minutes, Shane finally agreed.

In any case, their Clan Leader didn’t mind having two new Shelters since Shane himself had also just obtained a Rare Dimensional Catalyst from Solen… It means that he could connect to another shelter.

“Perfect…”

Soon, Tundra and his team were outside the village. The former then reached into his inventory and pulled out a glowing artifact.

Advanced Shelter Crystal

[ Advanced Shelter Crystal: This artifact has the power to claim and fortify a vast territory, transforming it into a self-sustaining stronghold. Once activated, the crystal will generate a powerful repelling force, pushing back zombies and other hostile entities from the designated area until it reaches full energy capacity.

It significantly boosts Production Speed, Culture Points, Shelter Durability, Defensive Structures, and Resource Generation.

When the crystal’s energy is fully charged, low-tier and mid-tier zombies will be repelled entirely, and even high-tier zombies will hesitate to approach unless certain events occur. Additionally, the crystal grants access to unique defensive capabilities.

Starting Energy: 70%

Shelter Crystal Special Effects: Strong Fortress Effect and starts with 10 Ballista, 2 Automated Turrets, and three Barrier Generators. ]

[ Strong Fortress: All defensive units stationed within the Shelter receive enhanced reflexes, increased resistance to mental and physical exhaustion. Automated defenses and turrets gain increased accuracy and energy efficiency. ]

Its surface was glowing and it looked beautiful, but Tundra knew about the power this crystal contained.. He must be handling this item…

“Alright…” He muttered as he looked at the villa behind.

He didn’t know why the sublevel was so clean… Maybe it was some kind of preservation field, or maybe the facility had been built with forgotten tech, or even something mystical… But he didn’t care. He wanted this place to be their new shelter.

Anyway, in this world, strange things happened, so he didn’t dwell on it.

[ Do you wish to spend 2,000 Spirit Points to claim this piece of land? ]

This question popped out, and Tundra was not familiar with this. However, Shane already informed him what to do…

Anyway, Tundra also observed the image that had appeared in front of him… It showed the map of the surroundings, and there was a highlighted portion on it that included a small portion of land outside the limited range…

‘Interesting…’ Tundra gently nodded as he also confirmed that within this area, all the buildings he’d make in the future would have better durability, and any productions here would be faster.

It means that they would have a higher yield when farming.

“Yes…” Shane answered.

[ Spirit Points deducted: 2,000.]

[ Shelter Crystal activation in progress… ]

The activation process didn’t take that long, as if it only scanned the territory he was about to get.

[ Area claimed successfully. Zone established: 5km Radius ]

[ Shelter Established: Coastal Villa Node ]

[ Starting Energy: 70% ]

[ Estimated time to full charge: 48 hours. ]

[ Effects Activated: Durable Fortress, Ballista x10, Automated Turrets x2, Barrier Generators x3 ]

[ Building effects: +100% Building Durability, +50% Production Speed within the territory. ]

[ Shelter Defense: Zombies and undead creatures of Tier 2 and below will be repelled. ]

[ Strong Fortress Effect Applied to All Defensive Units ]

[ Warning: The Shelter Crystal must be placed inside the territory to maintain its effect.]

The moment Tundra channeled his energy into the crystal, a wave of bright light erupted from its core, spreading outward like a shockwave and starting to form the platform where the Shelter Crystal could be placed…

Then, the ground continued to tremble as the villa itself began to reshape, its broken walls started reforging, and its shattered gates even mended themselves like magic!

There weren’t any high walls created, but there was a least a mound of some sort that marked the edge of their territory.

Furthermore, the defensive structures had appeared magically as well.

What was even more surprising was the building that had appeared which could house the shelter crystal or the core of their shelter that they have to protect in order to ensure that the effects or buffs would remain active.

Soon, Tundra revealed the details of the new shelter they built.

Otto was shocked as soon as he realized how big this was… “Five kilometers? That’s massive.”

Tundra nodded. “That covers the villa, the basin, the forest, and even part of the coastline.”

Zephyrion’s skeletal bird clicked once, then settled on his shoulder. “The repelling force is active. I can feel it. The undead will hesitate moving here… This is awesome.”

Eldric also listened to Tundra’s explanation and liked it a lot. “Production speed and resource generation boost will be needed the most. We’ll be able to build fast with those effects…”

Tundra nodded as he turned to the building where the shelter crystal core was located…

The shelter was now official. It had a default name, Coastal Villa Node… However, once he handed over the authority to Shane, he could just change the name to his liking later on.

In any case, Tundra didn’t plan to manage this place. Furthermore, he didn’t have Territory-Based Talent, unlike Shane…

Anyway, since the starting energy was only 70%. It will take some time for the barrier generators to form the protection they need…

It means the repelling force that would keep zombies at bay would still take some time…

“Those are good effects.” Eldric muttered after hearing that low-tier and mid-tier undead would be pushed out entirely once the crystal reached full charge. Even high-tier zombies would hesitate to approach unless provoked or triggered by events.

Tundra exhaled.

“This place is ours now.”

Otto grinned. “It’s kinda exciting that we’re starting over… We’ll need to start laying foundations like roads, housing plans, water systems, and others. We need to get those experts quickly.”

Tundra nodded. Still, he looked toward the hills…

“We should scout the coastline. If Shane wants to deploy ships, we’ll need to prepare a port. Zeph… Can you handle it?”

At this question, everyone was stunned… After all, none of them knew about Shane deploying ships at all!
