Chapter 906: Exchange List
Shane opened the system immediately.
As he saw the window panel, he immediately noticed his current balance, which was displayed.
[ Red Crystals Available: 1,245 ]
That included the combat rewards, survival bonuses, and achievement milestones from the Red Night Event.
Three tabs appeared beneath the balance: Weapons, Items, and Potions.
Shane tapped the Weapons tab first.
Ten options unfolded.
They were different from the Survivor’s Store as well. They all seemed practical, modern weapons designed for survivors. Prices ranged from 5 to 100 Red Crystals.

“Ohhh… These things looked impressive. But they’re not as good as I imagined.” Shane muttered as he expected something like a Legendary-Tier weapon or something at that level. However, what he got seemed just like modern weapons.
Still, he scanned the list, already calculating what to prioritize. He had over a thousand Red Crystals to spend, and this was just the first tab.
“Compact pistol… no. Too basic. Shotgun’s decent since they’re not showing up in the story anymore , but we need range. SMG… maybe for the miners if they get cornered.”
His eyes paused on the Suppressor Rifle.
“Stealth ops… could be useful if they send scouts ahead. I’ll give this to the Super Soldier team.”
Then the Auto-Turret Kit…
“Fifty crystals… expensive, but worth it. I should ask the others to get a few of these.”
As Shane continued to check the listed items, he realized how useful they could be.
“Thermal optics… good for spotting cloaked units. Rail Carbine… limited ammo, but it hits hard. Adaptive Combat Rifle… one hundred crystals. That’s too expensive… I wonder if it had any other special effects.”
He leaned back slightly.
He also considered resetting it for 1 red crystal as he might get better options, but for now, he decided to check the items tab…
Just like the weapons list, a new set of options unfolded. These weren’t personal gear, they were shelter-grade tools and support items.

“This is what I need.”
Without hesitation, he selected the Shelter Expansion.
Then he selected it again.
[ Shelter Expansion Beacon x2. 200 Red Crystals deducted ]
He didn’t even hesitate. One was for Silver Mine Camp. The other was for Springriver Manor.
“Territory matters,” he muttered.
“The bigger it gets, the fewer zombies wander in. Low and mid-tier types won’t even approach.”
He knew the System’s rules. Territory wasn’t just land, it was influence. With an upgraded Shelter Core, the camp wouldn’t just expand physically. It would trigger his Territory Lord Title, a passive System trait that allowed him to recruit special people to his territory.
Shane smiled. “If I’m lucky, the attraction rate might shift. One survivor every five days might become two survivors… maybe even better.”
In any case, items like the Barricade Kit, Watchtower Upgrade, and some others could be done by the engineers or with Cloud’s assistance.
What he wanted to purchase were only those impossible for them to recreate. Furthermore, the commanders would surely purchase these items as well…
He just needed to focus on those expensive ones that they may not be able to purchase themselves. After all, this was all for his territory…
The things that had happened to him in the two previous Apocalypses, he wouldn’t let happen again.
