Misha held the folded garments in her hands…
Her eyes lit up in excitement upon seeing the new clothes. She could tell that their boss was truly aware of their needs and wanted to take care of them all.
She first checked her work gear, composed of three items… They were a jacket, a pair of boots, a utility belt, leather gloves, and a helmet.
She quickly checked a couple of them and was immediately impressed.

The recruits wasted no time once Shane laid out the materials. He even placed various Light Orbs around the place and installed a barrier generator to ensure the place’s safety.
Furthermore, since they were still filled with energy after the transformation, they continued to work even if it was already late.
Shane didn’t stop them from working, as they probably wouldn’t be able to sleep unless they released the energy within their bodies.
With their new strength and gear, they moved like seasoned builders…
Support beams were lifted with ease, nails hammered into place, and planks aligned to form the beginnings of a defensive wall.
Misha, clad in her Ironstitch Builder’s Jacket, directed two of her companions as they secured the first section.
“Whoa… This is easy… These steel beams feel so light! Ah… Hold it steady–yes, like that. We’ll brace it with a rope before the next beam.”
The others followed suit, and as they continued for hours, sweat glistened on their foreheads, but smiles could be seen forming on their lips.
They were slowly enjoying this type of work, unworried about the Zombies and just focusing on building their home…

The next day, the group worked early…
As a Super Soldier, they didn’t really need to sleep for eight hours. Having four hours of sleep was already plenty.
Just eating bread and hot coffee for their breakfast was already more than enough.
By midday, Shane called them to rest.
He had already prepared meals… Most of them were stocks in his inventory, while a few were purchased in the Nourishment Store from his system…
He had roast cuts of Unknown Meat seasoned with herbs, and chilled water stored in crates cooled by the Ice Control Tokens. The recruits gathered around, eating heartily and laughing between bites.
“I feel really good having this food… Is there a special effect on them?” one muttered, tearing into the meat.
“Feels so good… I think I can work for 24 hours this time.” another added.
After meals, they returned to work until dusk. When the day’s labor ended, Shane ordered them to wash up.
Using barrels of water collected from a well, they bathed, scrubbing away sweat and grime.
The recruits then changed into their casual clothes… the linen shirts, trousers, and sandals, before retreating to their tents.
There were six tents in total. Each could fit three or four comfortably, so the men paired off naturally. Misha, being the only woman, was given her own tent. She appreciated the privacy, though she often heard the muffled laughter of her companions sharing stories in the tents nearby.
Inside her tent, she stretched out on the bedding, pulling her cloak around her shoulders.
Well, she felt really safe to sleep even without clutching a weapon. It was something that she could never do, being recruited here as she recalled her previous life.
The third day at dawn, Shane didn’t even have to wake them up…
They help prepare the meals… Bread, dried herbs, and meat lightly seared over a makeshift fire pit. They ate quickly, then returned to their posts.
Day after day, the life of the Super Soldiers continued…:
They would have Morning meals to fuel their strength.
Then, they would have construction work in the chilly morning, hammering beams and raising walls.
After that would be midday breaks with warm or chilled water, depending on their preference and eat their preserved food.
Lastly, there would be evening baths to wash away fatigue. They had no issues with the Zombies around at all…
After several days of continuous effort, the wooden walls was finally completed, encircling the outpost in a protective ring.
“Whoa~ This looks awesome!”
The recruits stood back, admiring their work.
“It’s solid enough. With the Barrier’s addition, it’s just perfect.” one said proudly while knocking on the beams.
“Zombies won’t breach this easily,” another added with a grin.
Shane inspected the perimeter, nodding in approval.
“Good…”
With the defenses complete, Shane directed them toward the next task, constructing buildings.
Larger storage sheds, cooking areas, and barracks were planned, each designed to support a few dozen people.
Then, while the recruits worked tirelessly, Shane finally took on another role.
He ventured beyond the walls, clearing the surrounding area of stray zombies…
However, after a few days of doing this, Shane returned to the outpost with a hint of excitement as he looked at his workers…
“Gather around, we have a visitor…”
As soon as he said this, a lone figure carrying a huge backpack that was triple his size arrived.
