Capítulo 1733: Chaos [Bonus]

[Bonus chapter thanks to TheFallofAllThings. Can’t wait to drop GA with one chapter left and ruin all your lives]

Crimson and gold swirled into pauldrons for Sylas’ shoulders, his hair dancing wildly in the wind as an armor more ancient than time itself took final shape.

It seemed to lift him up to his feet as though it refused to allow him to lie on his back, the canines that formed the enclosure of his helmet baring themselves to the world, but then casually opening up as though the face of a King shouldn’t be hidden either.

Sylas’ hands opened out wide, and silence fell. The howling winds, the thundering clouds, the shaking earth… all of them froze.

And then he clapped.

BANG.

A wave of destruction took shape, a cyclone of spinning gray flames and black Runes surged, appearing before Salivar so fast he barely had the time to dodge to the side.

A hole was torn through his massive golden tree. It looked as though a missile of epic proportions had taken a huge chunk out of it—whatever the cyclone of black had run through, it eviscerated everything it touched.

[Chaotic Menace].

Sylas’ Chaotic Sovereign Gene Class seemed to have been pumped with steroids, his Mixed Demonic Arts responding in kind and raising every one of his skills to perfection.

So when he took a step forward, subconsciously activating [Primal Step], it felt to Salivar as though he was seeing not in pairs, but in dozens. Space fluctuated and time dilated, making it seem as though there were an infinite number of Sylases that could have appeared from anywhere at any time.

He didn’t even decide which direction to defend when a claw—leaving streaking black, collapsing space in its wake—was already coming for his head.

BANG.

His golden tree managed to block for him, but in a shocking move, Sylas became as wild as a beast. The helm of canines that had vanished from his head returned as he chomped down on the branch, ripping it to shreds.

His teeth flashed with black Runes, but the canine helmet did its part even more perfectly, making it feel as though Sylas had two rows of teeth, each sharper than the last.

But rather than just destroying what was before him—he swallowed.

[Primal Gut].

The volatile energies were processed in a single instant of time, and not only did Sylas instantly gain an injection of wild, vitality-filled energies, but he also gained a perfect comprehension of them all at the same time.

His mouth opened, and the helmet of teeth unhinged along with it.

They both roared.

A layer of Salivar’s skin was instantly peeled off, his hair whipping back so hard several strands were ripped right from his scalp.

A beam of concentrated energy ripped forward, and Salivar was forced to curl into a ball to block.

The Entrim was sent flying, his body crashing into the waves of gold he had created, but he was far from out of it. His eyes glowed as he flipped back to his feet. He noticed Sylas quickly closing the distance, so he reacted in kind.

The countless branches and strands of his golden tree whipped out in unison, locking onto every iteration [Primal Step] formed and attacking them all at once.

A maelstrom of blade-like and sword energies filled the air, and to Salivar’s credit, Sylas was forced to appear—only for him to swallow another sword twice the size of his body and slap his belly in a single motion.

The bulge that formed shattered, and his ripped abdomen returned as he roared again, a beam even stronger and sharper than the last appearing before Salivar in the blink of an eye.

Salivar was ready this time—or so he thought.

[King’s Bind].

His body froze in place, and by the time he broke free of the restriction, he barely had time to tilt to one side.

An entire arm vanished, a large chunk of his torso looking as though a beast had taken a bite out of him.

Sylas weaved around the slapping arms of the golden tree. He moved as though a monkey in the wild, flipping and palming space as though swinging from branches, his body turning end over end seamlessly as he spun past sword lights that could have cut him in two.

His hair just barely grazed against the ground as he completed a low flip past another, grabbing at the empty space between his legs and forming a lever of silver and black to pull himself out of the way of the final one.

Launching himself high into the skies, he appeared above Salivar, a tail of Runes dancing behind him as he pulled a palm back.

[Chaotic Menace].

The palm of his Monkey King Armor expanded wide, doubling in size, and then doubling again. Black Runes danced across its body, swallowing up the crimson and gold until nothing but it and gray flames remained.

BOOM.

Sylas struck down, and Salivar was swallowed up whole. His head tilted to the skies and he howled toward the moon, the force of his call shredding the thick dark gold clouds apart until it could beam down.

The world shook apart at its very seams, the void swallowing up more and more of what remained. If the D-tier world could barely withstand their battle before, it was practically like it was barely holding on by the edge of a cliff now.

Even so, in the midst of this destruction, Sylas had never felt more at home.

Destruction. Chaos. He lived for it.

His Champion Will grew and grew, exponentially accelerating forward toward a path of the unknown. It was violent in its Will and relentless in its pursuit of perfection.

It burst out of the seams of Sylas’ very own body, a rainbow-colored Will taking shape to oppress the world.

And then the ground shook.

Salivar rose, beaten and bloodied, a grin likewise hanging from his face. A crown of swirling green and gold formed on his forehead as well, his eyes looking as though prisms of complexity were hidden deep within.

“Void.”
