Chapter 676: Chapter 127: First Battle, Painting Semi-Saint (Two in One)_2

“It can’t be that exaggerated, right? After reaching the Four Stands Realm, the effectiveness of pills on the body would decrease.”

“That’s because you have little insight, haven’t you heard of the Fruit of Enlightenment? Some advanced alchemists’ pills can produce similar effects. Although they can’t guarantee enlightenment, they can increase your chances of advancement.”

“That’s right, and the most powerful thing about advanced alchemists is their network. If your relationship is good enough and they are willing to speak on your behalf, they can gather their friends to help you refine pills, supporting even a worthless person into a strong practitioner.”

“See those over there? They’re all advanced alchemists.”

“Is that young person in the middle also an advanced alchemist? Impossible.”

“That must be a direct disciple of one of them.”

“Nonsense, that’s Qingfeng Pill Master. I met him once when I helped deliver herbs.”

“Qingfeng Pill Master? Is he really Qingfeng Pill Master?!”

Many, upon hearing the name Qingfeng Pill Master, were somewhat surprised.

Though they hadn’t seen Li Hao, Qingfeng Pill Master’s name had become extremely prominent recently. Everyone knew that in the circle of alchemists, there was a Qingfeng Pill Master, who had a vast network and mastered a unique method of extracting herbs. Seeking his help with alchemy almost guaranteed success!

In the floating seats, Li Hao had already taken his place with Lin Shanhai and others.

“It seems your reputation is quite impressive; even these youngsters know about it.”

Lin Shanhai heard the whispers and exclamations below and couldn’t help but smile at Li Hao.

Li Hao also noticed and found it somewhat amusing that someone like himself, who had never practiced alchemy, was now renowned as the famous Qingfeng Pill Master. It felt a bit absurd.

“It’s because Qingfeng’s purification method is truly irreplaceable. These youngsters are indeed well-informed.”

Shi Huajin chuckled.

“If Qingfeng wants to become an alchemist, I can teach you, and it doesn’t count as accepting a disciple,” Zhao Yingzhen said promptly.

Lin Shanhai said impatiently, “Stop scheming. I told Qingfeng the same thing long ago. If he wanted to, he had the opportunity to become an advanced alchemist by now.”

Zhao Yingzhen was taken aback, then gave a wry smile.

Li Hao’s gaze fell on the ten fighting platforms. On the borders outside the platforms, many inner sect disciples were gathered. To Li Hao’s surprise, these inner sect disciples exuded deep and reserved auras, all of them at least at the Four Stands Realm!

Among them, some stood out with exceptional posture, shining like a blazing sun. They had even reached the Tao Comprehension Realm. Their auras were deep and restrained, both obscure and sharp.

*Li Hao felt silently amazed. Even the inner sect disciples had those at the Tao Comprehension Realm. This was the foundation of the Holy Land.*

Meanwhile, in the Dayu Divine Dynasty, apart from the Buddha Lord, there was only Master Qin in charge.

As for whether there were other hidden Tao Comprehension Realm practitioners, it was unknown. Even if there were, there might only be one or two at most.

The six Dao Law Realm practitioners previously slain in the Imperial Palace were probably the six Inner Sect Heavenly Prides of the Void Holy Land, and all of them were at the Dao Law Realm, making them outstanding among the inner sect disciples.

But such outstanding disciples, compared to those in the Sword Ancestor Holy Land, numbered at least a hundred among the inner sect disciples.

This was the difference between a Holy Land and a mortal dynasty, a disparity like that between a divine dragon and an ant.

“Qing Ying is there.”

Shi Huajin pointed out, across from the ten platforms, where three figures stood together. Around them gathered many influential figures within the Holy Land, yet in front of these three figures stood more than a dozen imposing and outstanding individuals who appeared like transcendent stars, making people reluctant to look directly at them.

The shining elite among the inner sect disciples seemed somewhat overshadowed compared to these people.

“Those are the three Semi-Saints in the Holy Land.”

Lin Shanhai introduced them to Li Hao.

Li Hao gazed intently, realizing that the three Semi-Saints were second only to Saints. Although the gap between a Semi-Saint and a Saint was substantial, compared to the Tao Comprehension Realm, Semi-Saints had an overwhelming and absolute dominance.

There were three individuals, one man, one woman, both appearing middle-aged, and an elderly figure whose aura was elusive and restrained, yet resembled a distant and near divine mountain, rooted to the earth, immovable and magnificent.

Even the casual release of their momentum made Li Hao feel a powerful sense of oppression.

*He felt a heavy heart and vaguely sensed that with his current strength, even though he could easily subdue Dao Law Realm practitioners, if he were to match against these Semi-Saints, the outcome would be uncertain and he would likely lose.*

Semi-Saints had long lifespans, and most of them possessed the Extreme Realm, just a half-step away from becoming Saints. They were already considered among the top heavenly prides of their era. Defeating them against the odds was virtually impossible.

“For this preliminary selection, feel free to watch if you like, or you may leave if you prefer not to.”

In front of the ten platforms, a sturdy and towering middle-aged man, whose shoulders seemed capable of lifting the heavens, looked calmly at the ten or more Saint Heirs and saintesses before him.

Upon hearing his words, the expressions of the more than a dozen individuals remained quite composed. Some stood quietly with fluttering robes, wanting to see the elites among the inner sect disciples and what level they had reached.

Others made a slight bow to the three Semi-Saints and then turned to leave, not bothering to watch further.

For many Saint Heirs and saintesses, their attention mostly focused on competing with other Saint Heirs and saintesses, showing little interest in the inner sect disciples who were a level lower.

After all, in the end, they would merely become stepping stones for the Saint Heirs and saintesses.

“Haoyue Saint Son hasn’t come, he’s probably in seclusion.”

“He might be planning to show up for the top hundred battles, finding this level of combat beneath him. Coming here would be a waste of time.”

“It’s been thirty years since we last met, and it leaves one truly anticipating to see his current level now.”
