Chapter 444: A Walk By The Sea Shore
As the dinner slowly came to an end, Sarah stood up, her heart thudding softly as she looked at Henry, who was listening to Blaze’s light joke.
“Henry… would you like to take a walk with me?” She said, extending her hand towards him. “Just a short walk by the shore.”
Henry froze for a moment, stunned by her request. “Umm…. certainly, he replied, standing up and taking her hand. “I wouldn’t mind if it is okay with everyone.” His gaze shifted to her parents as if seeking their approval.
“Of course, it’s fine.” Hillary suppressed a chuckle finding Henry’s behavior cute as he recalled how Henry had sneaked Sarah out on so many fancy date without seeking his approval.
“You two should go have your fun.” Juliet shooed them while winking at Sarah.
“You can take her anywhere you want. Maybe show her you special secret man cave.” Amelia added wiggling her brow at Sarah.
“You mean that one I took you to…the one where we had…”
“Honey!” Amelia flashed her husband a warning glare as a ripple of laughter swept across the table.
Sarah face flushed pink and Henry felt a bit awkward listening to their intimate joke.
“We will take our leave, now.” Henry gave a curt bow and Sarah teased him saying.
“Relax… This is not a boardroom section.”
As they turned around to leave, Hilary stern voice snapped their heads back.
“Please, stay away from any grey area. We don’t want you two wondering into the unknown.”
“I will keep her safe, sir.” Henry hold tightened slightly around Sarah hand. “And we won’t go very far.”
“Good…. And please do away with all the formality. You don’t have to address me as sir. We are family. Simply call me Dad.”
“Thank you, Dad.”
As the couple finally stepped away from the table, Blaze subtly nodded once at Echo, who was currently on standby. He wasn’t about to take chances with the couple again.
Echo acknowledged his non verbal instruction and left the scene while giving coded directive to some of the ghost bodyguard patrolling the cruise.
Instantly, two shadowy figures, moved discreetly across the deck and followed the couple from a distance, melting into the shadows but staying vigilant.
Back on the deck, Henry’s elderly foster parents politely stood up from the table and thanked the family for their hospitality.
“We would take our leave now…” The old fisherman was saying when Blaze interrupted him.
“There is no need to return to your home. “We’ve prepared a luxury cabin for you two and Henry. Please stay and rest here. We’re family now. The steward can show you to your room if you are ready to retire to bed.”
The couple exchanged emotional glances before nodding gratefully and following a steward who guided them below deck.

By the shoreline, Sarah and Henry walked hand in hand, enjoying the cool and refreshing night air brushing gently against their faces.
They watched as the waves rolled in rhythm, filling them with a sense of tranquility and wonder.
Henry inhaled deeply.
“The island is so magical.” he murmured.
“Yeah. It reminds me of our Christmas trip to another island that is as magical as this place?” Sarah said softly.
“Christmas trip?” Henry raised a brow.
“Yes.” Sarah looked up at him. “It was the best Christmas trip ever.”
“Was I there with you?”
“You were the organizer of that trip.” Sarah chuckled finding Henry slightly stunned expression cute. “That was where we welcomed Amelia’s Christmas miracle, baby Neol.”
“Wow! So Amelia has a son. She doesn’t look it.”
Sarah giggled. “My cousin has a beautiful body. Would you like to know something funny?”
“What?”
“You and Blaze once fought over Amelia’s attention. You were desperate to make her your girlfriend. But Blaze was already ten step ahead of you. He was secretly married to her and you didn’t even know.”
“Wow! That’s one funny story.” Henry chuckled finding this story weird. But he couldn’t deny the fact that Amelia was a beautiful young woman just like her young cousin whom he couldn’t stop admiring. “So did we make any memory in that Island?”
Sarah stopped walking as she turned to face him. “A lot.” She beamed as she dusted off an invisible spec on his shoulder. “I remember our first night on the island. It was so cold and I had to share a room with my mom. I couldn’t sleep and you are downstairs alone in one of the guest room. We chatted on phone for a while and you invited me over. Since the house was filled with a lot of family members I was too scared and ashamed to come but you promised me a fun night.”
“So did you come?” Henry asked wishing he could remember that incident.
“What do you think?” Sarah plucked his nose playfully and Henry smiled. “I snuck out of the room almost getting caught by my mom. And when I got to your room, you gave me that best night of my entire life.” She took his hand and they resumed walking slowly.
“We took a walk in the middle of the night under the moonlight almost like this one. We shared secrets and made promises before we returned to your room and snuggled together.”
“Amazing…” Henry felt his heart drumming really fast as a sensitive question crossed his mind. “Did we ever…umm…. Were we ever…you know….”
“Made love?” Sarah whispered, her cheeks turning crimson.
“I… I didn’t mean it that…”
“It’s fine, Henry.” Sarah nudged him on the arm. “On several location, we almost did. We were just waiting for the right moment…our wedding night. But we did kiss a lot and you were such an amazing kisser.” She batted her lashes and Henry turned his face away feeling embarrassed.
“You know….” Sarah voice lowered into a longing hush. “We even dreamt of going back to the island, just you and me. We planned on starting a home there and raising a family.”
Henry tilted his gaze back to her, tucking her fluttering hair behind her ear. “What if we could go back to the island?”
“Really!” Sarah eyes widened, her heart beating very fast.
