Chapter 436: Island Rescue Mission
The evening of the following day, the sun was beginning to disappear behind the horizon when Blaze’s helicopter, alongside other choppers, and seaplane descended through the coastal mist.
Below, the vast expanse of Sebastian’s secret island stretched like a dark, sleeping monster beneath the dying light.
“Everyone, take your position.” Blaze barked into his radio device. “Sweep every corner of this godforsaken island. Cover the forest ridges and make sure nothing gets off this island. I want that bastard found and brought to me alive. Now, move.”
The heavy thud of boots against wet sand blended perfectly with the crashing of strong waves by the ocean shore.
Clad in all-black combat attire, Amelia clutched her headset tightly, her voice trembling with a mixture of fury, excitement, and dread.
“Blaze, the tracker is still active. The signal is coming from the northwest side of the island, inside the forest.”
“Copy honey,” Blaze replied, his voice a low growl. His eyes flicked to Michael, who was already strapping on his rifle, fury etched into every line of his face. “I’ll take some team this way while you go that way.”
“Copy,” Michael muttered.
“I’m going with Mike,” Amelia suggested, her adrenaline pumping as she tightened her grip around her weapon.
“Be careful, my love ” Blaze kissed her on the forehead before heading out in the direction of the forest.
When Michael and Amelia, alongside some lethal operatives arrived at the beach cottage, they were stunned and disappointed to find it empty.
But the sight of overturned chairs, scattered belongings and the blood smears on the floor, sent a chill down Amelia’s spine.
“Oh God!” Amelia gasped softly, following the faint trail of dried blood into the bedroom, where the once-white bedsheets were now stained deep with stale and congealed blood. “Please, let it not be Sarah”, she whispered a prayer.
“I can feel her presence. My sister was here.” Michael’s fists clenched so hard his knuckles turned white. “God help me when I find that bastard. I’ll gut him with my bare hands.”
Meanwhile, Blaze and his team advanced deeper into the forest, the flashing beeps of the satellite phone guiding them like a heartbeat in the dark.
“There!” one of the men shouted, pointing toward a cluster of bushes.
Blaze moved closer to the site and knelt down, brushing away leaves to reveal the mud-covered phone still blinking faintly.
“Honey, have you guys found anything?” Blaze spoke into his radio phone.
“No. The house is empty.” Amelia replied from the other end. “But it seems there was a scuffle here. The whole place is a mess.”
“Come down to the north perimeter with Mike. I think we found the phone.
“Okay.”
A few minutes later, Amelia and Michael joined Blaze at his location.
“I think Sarah dropped it here on purpose,” Amelia said, her voice tight with both hope and dread as she examined the phone closely. “She was on the run.”
“And probably hurt,” Michael added, noticing droplets of dark red on the ferns. “That son of a bitch. He must have hurt her.” His jaw clenched with suffocating rage.
Blaze pressed his palm against Michael’s chest. “Keep it together, Mike. We will find him.”
A shout came from ahead of them from the waterfall area. “Mr Anderson, I found something.”
The team emerged at the waterfall clearing, where a wrecked speedboat lay splintered against the rocks, its motor half-submerged in the water.
“Dear God…” Amelia’s breath caught.
Blaze carefully examined the wreckage, his eyes narrowing as he said.
“Whoever used this survived but they may have sustained a terrible injury.”
“Which means they will need urgent medical assistance,” Michael suggested.
“Hospital.” Both Blaze and Amelia chorused.
“But there is no hospital on this island.” Michael pointed out. “What if the bastard dragged my sister somewhere else?”
Before Blaze could respond, his radio crackled.
“Sir, we found something on the south side. It is a seaplane anchor. But there is no plane.”
Amelia’s eyes brightened. “Then he must have flown her off the island if she’s injured. Remember what that lady said, Sebastian would never hurt Sarah.”
“Yes.” Blaze straightened up. “We just have to figure out which hospital he took her to.”
Turning to the radio phone in his hand, he instructed. “Echo, you heard everything. I need answers.”
“Running data now, sir. Please stand by,” Echo replied and within minutes, he responded again. “Sir, local radar picked up a seaplane leaving this vicinity last night. It was tracked heading north-east toward the Hintus island city, more than a thousand kilometres from our current location. I’m sending you the coordinates.”
“Alpha team, stay back on the island in case they show up. Everyone else, get ready. We move in five minutes.” Blaze barked into the phone.

It was already nightfall by the time Blaze and his team arrived at the coastal island City.
Neon lights shimmered off the waves as the convoy pulled up near the port.
“There it is,” Amelia pointed to a white and red seaplane docked quietly by the pier. “It matches the description.” She said, looking at the captured image sent by Echo.
Blaze checked the registry number and clenched his jaw. “It’s Sebastian’s. Is the seaplane his uncle got him?”
Michael turned to a nearby dock worker, his eyes chilly but his words polite. “Please, did you see the person who flew this in?”
The man nodded nervously. “Yes, sir. An injured man, carrying a young lady. He paid me some money to look after this vessel.”
“The lady he was carrying…” Michael asked impatiently. “… Is she all right?”
“No…” The shook his head. “She looked… barely alive with a thick bloody bandage wrapped around her head. He took her to St. Gabriel General Hospital in town.”
Blaze and Amelia didn’t wait for the man to finish his statement as they mounted the car that had been arranged for them while Michael bought the man’s silence before joining them.
When they arrived at the hospital, they discreetly made their way inside, flanked by some local police.
They were taken to the security room where the local authority briefly interacted with the hospital security.
“Mr Anderson, how would you want us to proceed?” The head of security inquired.
“We need access to all surveillance feeds now.”
“Okay, Sir.” The guard stepped aside and Echo mounted the security control panel seat, his eyes narrowing at the monitor.
“There….” Amelia pointed at a monitor on the left. “That’s Sebastian and….” Her voice trailed, tears glistening in her eyes.
