Chapter 424: A Mockery Wedding

“You sick bastard.” Henry growled thrashing even more violently. “If you hurt one hair of her hair, I swear…I will kill you.”

“Again with the empty threat, Mr executive movie director and producer.” Sebastian smirked, stepping closer with the poise of a man savoring his long-awaited triumph. “And why would I want to hurt the love of my life?” He tapped the barrel of his gun on the centre of Henry’s head.

“Sebastian….please. Don’t hurt him.” Sarah begged in a trembling voice. “Just tell us what you want. If it’s money, we are ready to pay you any amount.”

“Money!” Sebastian shot Sarah a dangerous glare. “You think I’m doing all of this because of money? You insult me Sarah. If money was my problem, then I wouldn’t have sent you that expensive diamond necklace around your neck.”

“What?!” Sarah jaw dropped, her gaze lowering to the ruby red diamond hanging down her neck. “It was you who sent it?”

“You thought it was your movie bodyguard lover.” Sebastian scoffed. “Oh Sarah… You have no idea how much I’ve waited for this moment. How I have dreamt it will be. I’ve spent the entire semester thinking of you and how you rejected me for this bastard. But tonight everything is about to change.”

“Sebastian…” Henry inhaled deeply stifling his rage. “I’m going to give you one last chance to set us free and walk away. I promise if you do, I want go after you. I will pretend none of this happened.”

“And if I don’t?” Sebastian squatted In front of Henry, his lips curled up in a devilish smile.

“If you don’t, I will hunt you down like the animal that you are and I will take so much pleasure in watching you die slowly.”

Sebastian chuckled. “If you haven’t noticed…” His leaned closer, his voice dripping with venomous calm. “I am the one holding the gun and you are the one suffering. In this script which I have written specially for you, I will wed my bride while you watch. Then I feed you to the creature of the sea after putting a bullet here.” He jabbed Henry on the chest with the muzzle of his gun.

“So without further ado..” Sebastian stood up and straightened out his crisp suit jacket. “….let the wedding ritual begin.” He raised a hand and a pale-faced priest holding a Bible with trembling hands was dragged unto the deck.

“Sebastian, you can’t do this. I don’t love you. I don’t want to get married to you. Please.” Sarah wept bitterly, her tears making Henry go insane as he kept on screaming and thrashing violently.

“Hush, my sweetheart.” Sebastian came up to her and wiped her tears with his scented hankerchief. “My love is enough for the both of us. All you have to say is, I do.”

“Never. I will never say those words.” Sarah spat in his face and he smiled wiping her spittle off.

“We will see about that, my love.” Sebastian dangerous gaze flickered to the trembling priest. “What are you waiting for? Get it over with.” He barked.

“Y…yes.” The priest nodded his head, clutching the holy book tighter. “Tonight…we are gathered to bear witness to this young man and young woman in holy matrimony.”

“No….” Henry shook his head violently, his voice boomed in desperation as he shrieked. “Let her go.”

But Sebastian completely ignored him as he held Sarah’s pleading gaze softly, while listening to the priest recite those solemn vows. “I do.” He smiled taking her hand gently into his. But Sarah snatched her hands from him screaming I don’t.

“Continue.” Sebastian ordered the priest coldly as the latter paused hoping the insane young man would let the innocent lady go.

“Okay….” The priest’s voice quivered as he turned to Sarah..”Do you, Sarah Hunt, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband. To love and to hold, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?”

“I don’t.” Sarah spat out

Bang!

A gunshot split the air startling Sarah followed by Henry howling in pain as the bullet tore into his thigh, missing his bone by an inch.

“No!” Sarah shrieked, collapsing forward in terror as she watched Henry body jerk against the pole, blood soaking his trousers.

“Let’s try this again.” Sebastian said calmly, aiming the gun higher while his tugs pulled Sarah up to her feet. “Father…”

“Do you S…Sarah Hunt….take this man t…to be your lawfully wedded husband. To love and to hold, in s…sickness and in health, until death do you p…part?” The priest stammered.

“I… I…” Sarah stuttered, tears streaming down her pale cheeks. She glanced at Henry bleeding thigh, her lips quivering and her silence screaming louder than words.

Bang!

Sebastian fired another deafening gunshot hitting Henry this time on his left upper arm causing him to howl even louder.

“Stop it.” Sarah screamed.

“Then say those words.” Sebastian barked at her. He marched over to Henry and please the muzzle of the gun on his forehead. “Do you want him to die? Is that what you want? Because either ways, you will still be my wife tonight.”

“P….please don’t make me..” Sarah shook her head violently, sobbing.

“Say it!” Sebastian snarled, cocking the gun a third time.

“I… I do.” Her voice broke as she choked out the words, her tears mixing with her cold sweat.

“Louder!” Sebastian thundered.

“I do.” Sarah’s cracked voice echoed into the night. “Please don’t hurt him anymore.” Her shoulders trembled uncontrollably, her spirit shattering completely.

“I’m sorry.” Henry groaned, still trying to be tough for Sarah even in the face of death. “I failed you.”

“No…”

“Shh!” Sebastian placed a finger over Sarah’s lips, silencing her. “He is not your problem anymore. You are my wife now and I promise I won’t fail you like him.” He smiled softly, wiping her tears off her reddened face while signaling the priest to continue.

“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you m…man and wife. You may now K…kiss the bride.”

Sebastian’s eyes glittered with sick satisfaction as he turned to his men. “Release him.”

The priest alarm gaze flickered to Sebastian position gun behind his back and the unfortunate fellow been untied. He could already guess what was coming next, as he turned to look at Sarah.

“Kiss me, my love and let this night seal our beautiful future together.” Sebastian pulled Sarah into his arm.

“Please…stop….” Sarah turned her head away, while calling unto Henry. But Sebastian forcefully grabbed her chin, and crashed his lips against hers in a mockery kiss, the corner of his eyes never leaving Henry.

Sarah sobbed harder, wrenching against him, her muffled cries stabbing through Henry’s soul.

“Get away from her, you bastard.” Henry launched forward, rage igniting his vein as he roared, ready to tear Sebastian apart with his bare hands.

Bang!
