Capítulo 4823: Desolate Heavenly Tribulation
The moment the twelve Paragon Magical Beasts moved, the tribulation clouds finally lost their pretense of indifference, rumbling with a terrifying lock that tried to suppress Davis.
Immense pressure fell on Davis, but he looked indifferent to it as ever.
The Rat vanished first, dissolving into the void as it slipped through the space. As a space-attributed magical beast, it possessed major compatibility with the Heavenly Desolate Spacetime Tribulation’s energy, becoming far stronger than the other beasts.
The Ox lowered its head, hooves anchoring in the void, strength piling upon strength as though it were an ever-growing mountain that drew power from the stacks of spatial layers themselves.
The Tiger’s roar split the firmament ever so lightly, its overbearing aura putting further pressure on Davis.
The Rabbit shook, starting to split endlessly already as space twisted around it.
The Dragon raised its claws like a ruler, crimson white-negative lightning and purple-silver spatial energy unfolding from its body as it created a terrifying armor. It further exuded a vast pressure, trying to quell Davis in the mental realm.
The Serpent slithered into the fine shadows of the layers of space, its intentions unknown.
The Kirin stepped upon terrifying spatial runes it created, and desolate lightning crackled from its deep crimson eyes and whiskers. It made a step forward, creating a frightening arc of desolate lightning ricocheting towards Davis.
The Turtle carried a miniature world of space on its back, defenses layered one after another. At the same time, strange karmic energy began to unfold from the desolate lightning and desolate spacetime, making Davis’s brows squint as he felt the most danger from this beast.
If it were allowed to remain along with the Rat until the end of the tribulation, he might get thrown out even if he crossed his tribulation.
The Hydra hissed, nine heads blooming with a spacetime sphere that sought to obliterate him.
The Fox smiled eerily, illusions blooming like flowers as its life energy was corrupted into a harmful force with the desolate heavenly lightning.
The Phoenix burned silently with desolate heavenly lightning mixing with its nirvanic flames, and the Wolf took a step back, its eyes flickering with a hint of confusion as its death energy flailed.
By the time Davis’s soul sense spread forward to encompass them as he made his calculations, he was already in between them.
‘What?’
The Celestial Transcendent’s head swerved back, unable to believe that Davis just disappeared from his gaze and reappeared behind him, far away.
The twelve Paragon Magical Beasts reacted, their giant pupils gazing towards his location before their bodies could turn.
Abruptly, an immense soul suppression encompassed them, greatly restricting their movements and their actions. Their translucent bodies bent and radiated cracking sounds under the pressure as though they had real bodies.
Overlooking them with a cold gaze, Davis slapped the air from above.
Life energy surged out from the pores, forming into one giant palm as it pressed down on them. Their strikes reversed in direction, unable to move forward from the sheer force of the palm.
The first to be swallowed was the dragon that stood above all.
Its overwhelming aura was entirely suppressed. Its scales clad in heavenly desolate lightning and heavenly desolate spacetime cracked and shattered before its entire body dispersed into motes of light under the white shroud.
Thick life energy rapidly refined the heavenly factors, not giving them a chance to counter.
Next, the Serpent, Kirin, Rat, Ox, and Tiger were also engulfed, quickly dissolving underneath its refinement. The other magical beasts didn’t take long to collapse.
The only surviving ones were the Phoenix and the Wolf, who were surprisingly pushed out of the refining life energy palm.
Davis raised his hands and cupped his fists, “Seniors, I, Davis Loret, thank you for staying your hands for a moment, but there’s no need to. This junior is grateful to have received your blessings in my marriage to Lea. Senior Wolf, I promise to take care of Nadia and revive the death-attributed wolves.”
The Phoenix and Wolf trembled, wanting to express something, but they couldn’t.
Davis didn’t wait for them.
He reached out his hands, pulling them over and personally refined them as he unleashed life energy over them.
“What? Are you not going to stab in the back yet?”
Davis turned to look at the Celestial Transcendent from the corner of his eye.
“No wonder you invited an entirely new tribulation to yourself…”
The Celestial Transcendent folded his arms as his gaze finally turned solemn.
It was amazing that his own prowess was eighteen levels higher, which means with his chaos energy and the heavenly spacetime factor bleeding into his powers, it became something else, allowing his attacks to be strengthened as much as twenty-one levels higher, not to mention the Divine Techniques he could use to change the course of the battle.
Even then, he couldn’t see a way to defeat this trialist as the initial release of his soul force alone quantified to a prowess that was twenty-four levels higher.
“You have grown too strong, far stronger than anyone would expect, including me. How did you do it? You haven’t even embarked on a unique cultivation path yet, as your aura is still undoubtedly that of an Immortal Emperor.”
The Celestial Transcendent’s curiosity won over his frustration and anger at this moment, prompting him to ask a question.
“Well, let’s just say my physiques are something I worked on tempering for the past decade, and the trip to the secret realm was quite fruitful.”
As Davis spoke, the Celestial Transcendent smiled wryly as he turned to look by his side and saw Davis’s hand on his shoulder. His gaze flickered as he had totally missed the illusion.
“Give up. Just like you can manhandle me in the Upper Realm right now, I can manhandle your heavenly avatar. Blame the heavens for not putting you in the final wave.”
“…”
The Celestial Transcendents lips twitched, “You have also grown more audacious.”
*Ripp!~*
From the shoulder to the leg, a black stretch ripped apart the Celestial Transcendent. Death energy slash easily cut down the Celestial Transcendent’s terrifying body like tofu. The heavenly body shattered into two and split into motes of crimson negative-white light and purple-silver light.
“Good lad…” The Celestial Transcendent laughed amusedly, “At least you can have your moment now. Enjoy it while you can before our human galaxy’s Venerable Knights arrive to kill you. They’re very near- I can tell you that.”
“…” Davis’s heart shook, “Hmm. I’m well aware.”
“It’s a pity. You seem to have great backers. Your predecessor seemed to have locked my avatar in a battle.”
The Celestial Transcendent’s voice faded as his Will completely disappeared from the refinement. He didn’t even bother to hold on to it.
‘Leader Arnoxin did?’ Davis narrowed his brows before he nodded, “Then it seems like I could put my trust in them a bit.”
Davis turned to look up at the terrifying tribulation clouds.
The second wave was going to descend at any moment.
