Chapter 4731: True Deity Stage Lifeform?
True Deity Stage Lifeform- was what Davis’s mind first swelled with as he endured this unbelievable pressure. All forms of aggression receded, and the urge to give himself away and submit swelled within him.
Even Exalt Stage Lifeforms failed to give him this pressure, making him quickly think he had encountered a True Deity Stage creature.
Fairy Thunderblaze was no different. She guessed it was an existence above the Exalt Stage. However, her gaze was rather sharp as she tried to withstand the pressure. Her lips moved.
“Don’t give up. It’s not alive or is asleep…”
She clenched her teeth, moving towards it with difficult steps.
Davis came out of his reverie. He cast a dubious glance at her before following her. The blood veins from the entirety of the region were connected to this plant lifeform, seemingly nurturing it.
As they exited the bloody forest and entered the verdant prairie, a resounding cackling emerged.
Logan stood on a tree branch, his expression full of mockery, “Son, you think whatever that is will work against me? You’re delusional if you think you can beat me. As for her, do you really want to believe her? Look, she knows what it is…”
The Blood Realm Calamity chuckled.
It made Davis nearly pause, but he continued following her.
Logan dissolved and burst into a blood mist.
The Blood Realm Calamity appeared elsewhere, its form now clad in the shape of Claire.
“My son. That woman is really not perfect for you. She harbors intense feelings for you, but at the same time, wishes to end you, so your presence does not trouble her anymore. If you let her appear near this lifeform, then you will die.”
“Oh yeah?” Davis sneered, “Then come down and fight me.”
“I will.” Claire’s expression turned rabid, her purple eyes abruptly glowing with a scarlet hue.
*Ripp!~*
The ceiling was ripped apart by two hands, and the sky of the Shard Continent came into view, revealing the suns and moons shining upon a terrifying crimson blight that stared at them with its huge hollow eyes.
Davis and Fairy Thunderblaze’s scalp turned numb as they bore witness to this enormous creature. It was bigger than anything they had seen, stretching kilometers long as though made from thousands and thousands of bloody giants fusing together.
Its terrifying mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth went agape.
Davis didn’t hesitate to take out the Malevolent Flesh Erasure Fan. The cursed artifact’s aura erupted with a wave of his hand.
Without a kicking up the slightest trace of wind, the humongous, bloody giant staring up at them from above and seemingly going to engulf them whole, abruptly went stiff. Then its body collapsed like a deflated mountain, the countless fused torsos, limbs, and screaming faces shredded as though countless wind blades sliced through them and eliminating each drop of blood with extreme accuracy.
*Sssho!~*
A rumbling shockwave pulsed across the cavern as the crimson behemoth imploded into a blood mist.
Davis’s expression churned.
Before the blood rain could even pour down on them, the Blood Realm Calamity chose this moment to attack!
It jumped from the verdant grass, pouncing at Davis.
The Malevolent Flesh Erasure Fan radiated a black miasma as Davis felt his thoughts grow sluggish and terrifying sounds fill his soul.
The horrifying sounds grew from whispers to shrieks. The voices overlapped and distorted into giving him a violent headache. His body felt extremely heavy, and his limbs grew sluggish, as though chains were wrapped around him.
“Submit…”
“… my…”
“… slave~”
The echoes rattled through his mind, left and right, nearly making his vision grow dark, but he maintained lucidity and clarity. With a wave of his hand, the Malevolent Flesh Erasure Fan disappeared, and he reached out toward the Blood Realm Calamity, activating the Spatial Dome.
It grew in size, and before it could encompass Fairy Thunderblaze, he ended the technique, causing the Spatial Dome to recede.
The Blood Realm Calamity fell inside the ring and was stopped in time in the ring’s storage space, sealed.
However, that didn’t seem to be the Blood Realm Calamity’s main body as it jumped from afar, slithering its way through the air like an arrow serpent.
With both attacks having failed, Davis’s actions grew more sluggish. He brought up the spatial walls using the ring, but it proved to be useless as the Blood Realm Calamity slipped down and pounced at him from below with its rabid claws and razor-sharp teeth, thoroughly intending to consume him.
*Boom!~*
But at this moment, Fairy Thunderblaze intervened, putting herself before him and the Blood Realm Calamity.
She sent both the golden gourd and the flameseed against it, smashing its head with the gourd as it created sparks of golden divine lightning, and the flameseed instantly set it ablaze from below.
Using the chance, Davis acted in concert and used the Temporal Voidplane Ring’s Spatial Dome ability. He directly pulled the Blood Realm Calamity into the time-sealed zone, viewing it with his soul sense.
His expression changed as he looked around, “We failed. It’s still around…”
Davis barely finished speaking when he saw Fairy Thunderblaze fall to her knees- no, the ground split open and a giant bloody maw was trying to engulf her whole.
At this moment, Fairy Thunderblaze’s gaze was on him. She had used up the last bits of her energy using her two trump cards and could no longer afford to even move properly. Her eyes seemed to be saying something, yet it couldn’t be conveyed amidst the urgent and threatening situation.
She bit her lips, barely shaping out a few inaudible words.
“Zenova!”
Davis reached out his hand to grab her, but instantly realized he would be unable to reach her. Having no choice, he unleashed the Spatial Dome once again, spending a massive amount of energy that once again brought his energy levels dangerously low.
The Spatial Dome engulfed both Fairy Thunderblaze and the Blood Realm Calamity below, pulling them into the storage the next instant.
However, this minute instance proved to be too slow, allowing Davis to know he failed yet again in sealing the Blood Realm Calamity even without having to confirm it.
With a burst filled with black-golden obliteration energy, he sprinted toward the strange plant lifeform.
“NO! Stop!”
The Blood Realm Calamity’s terrifying, otherworldly screech echoed right behind him, so close, so intimate as though it was just inches away from engulfing him whole and absorbing him into its body.
At this moment, the blood rain poured down, each droplet having lost all of its vitality as well as its connection to the Blood Realm Calamity.
“Stop! If you disturb it, then we will both die!” The Blood Realm Calamity shrieked, appearing truly alarmed, “This is a True Deity- an Archon’s garden and I’m the trapped gardener! If something goes wrong, we will have to endure the wrath of that spirit!”
“What of it? Let’s die together!”
Davis didn’t stop, his expression full of scalding vengeance. He didn’t even know if he saved Fairy Thunderblaze in time, whether her body was severed into two or still connected together, inches away from being dismembered and crushed by the numerous jaws.
“Anarchic Divergent!!! You motherfucker! Stop or I’ll karmically attack your wives!”
“…!”
Davis’s heart shook. Whether it was a lie or the truth, he couldn’t discern, but it made him come to a stop as he turned to look around and saw the Blood Realm Calamity also stop.
The two of them stared at each other as the droplets of blood covered them all over.
