Chapter 719: Don’t Blame me for being Rough!
Lumina kicked him in the back of the head with a rotating axe kick.
His body flew to the ground at high speed.
Asmodeus grit his teeth, focusing all the mana and magic in his body, pouring divine aura into the time domain wrapped around his body. The world shook as his head pounded, a painful spike spread through his mind, and his domain shone brightly.
The colour faded from his world.
Soon, even sound followed.
In the end, with his entirety focused on the domain, the deadly silver stars lanced towards him at a speed he could barely measure.
Vwoom!
With the sweep of his arm, a bloody wall formed.
Only to be instantly torn apart by hundreds of silver stars.
Cracks grew along the surface, immediately stretching like spider webs until it shattered.
WOOOSH!
His jagged, bloody wings hammered the air, stopping his descent, as he twirled and avoided the onslaught of a hundred stars.
“Foolishness!”
With a shout, his automatic magic skill rapidly formed blood spears that shot at the two women, so they couldn’t focus on double-teaming him for a moment.
Asmodeus wiped his forehead; black blood leaked from the blow of Lumina’s attack, her kick lacerated from his temple to his cheek.
One blow easily bypassed his sovereign armour completely.
“Baby~ are you going to keep playing hard to get?” Serena danced across the ground, her steps shimmering as if she walked across a river of moonlight. But in her hands was a strange weapon.
‘A bow created from a crescent moon?’
Cold sweat poured down his spine as she pulled on the invisible bowstring, creating a massive metre-long arrow of pure divine energy, which howled into existence.
“Honey, did you forget about me? I feel a little jealous!”
“Shit!”
Woosh~
With a sweep of his right arm, his axe materialised and clashed with the armoured exoskeleton of his wife with a resounding bang.
‘I can’t even sense Lumina when she moves… what happened!?’
He couldn’t find the answer in combat, but there was a stark difference between the two. Serena’s movements were slow, easy to track along with her immense, almost limitless divine aura. Lumina’s movements ignored his time domain and allowed her to escape his sight and detection, but her body carried no energy; he couldn’t even sense mana!
They clashed with a series of rapid blows, the legs of Lumina long, sleek and able to withstand the power of his axe easily.
She used the tip of her shoes like a blade, stabbing with rapid side and roundhouse kicks, while her eight hovering arms independently punched and grabbed at his own tendrils, forcing his body to remain in her range.
Serena’s voice came from below. “Sister, now!”
“Roger!”
An instant.
That’s all it was! The moment Serena spoke, tremendous heat came from below.
Lumina twirled, sending eight hovering fists at his left and right arms, then unleashed a spinning kick, digging her heel into Asmodeus’s abdomen, aiming for his sternum.
De-de-de-deng!
Bang!
His body floated back from the impact, blocking his chest using the haft of his axe, cracks appearing along the shaft and blade from the force.
A blinding light flashed from below as the arrow tore through the sky.
‘Damn it!’
Asmodeus pushed his body to the side using his blood wings, but the suction and force of the divine arrow ignored his efforts.
“Ahhhh!” A low grunt filled the air as he dropped to the ground.
The explosion of silver light devoured half his wings and tore them from his back.
Thud~
Kneeling with both hands, his hands were covered with steam as Asmodeus’s back poured with blood and mist from the super-heated arrow and his blood wings; the scars from where the wings grew leaked crimson blood.
“You two!”
Anger.
Frustration.
Exileration.
His emotions mixed in a massive cauldron of negative, positive and pure madness.
“Eh?”
“Wow!”
Serena and Lumina both hummed, their bodies tingling the moment he glared at them. This kind of look was nothing like when he flirted or took them to bed. It was feral, violent and filled with something that sent chills down their spines.
“Good, good, good wives!”
Asmodeus underestimated them; he looked down on them. Of course, he would; these pretty fairies begged him for mercy each night after a few rounds.
However, now he saw them as rivals, equals and prey.
Similar to Ein, whom he fought over a month ago, or Funf, the strange woman who tried to assault him sexually.
A strange, ticklish feeling surfaced, something he only felt when fighting to the death or facing an impossible foe.
But when facing his wives with these dense emotions.
He felt a sort of sexual tension accompany them, bringing another sort of lust other than bloodlust.
“Hey, Serena. That was a mighty fine attack!”
“Lumina, your legs after all, they’re to die for. Let me take a close look!”
Bzt!
His body suddenly vanished from their sight.
Both women looked around, with anxious expressions, although they wanted to teach him a little lesson when looking at him just now, their skin tingled with little bumps as if he had examined every inch of their naked bodies.
“Sister Serena!”
Bang!
Lumina’s shout came too late; her body moved like a dragonfly chasing prey, but Asmodeus already buried his fist so deep into Serena’s stomach that she bent into the shape of a “C”. There was a moment of silence as she gasped, her drool floating in the air, before she shot across the air like a missile.
Crash~
She hit the barrier, her head tilting to the side.
“Well, how soft and tender.” Asmodeus chuckled; whether he meant her skin or innards was a mystery to Lumina, who stood on the spot, her legs trembling.
He glanced at his little spider wife, with a distorted smile on his lips, the energy trapped inside his divine core slowly seeping into his body. It was the transformation they mentioned.
Asmodeus tapped the ground before shooting towards her.
Lumina’s pupils dilated before shrinking into tiny dots as his fist was an inch from her face.
All eight eyes focused as she barely tilted her head, avoiding the fist. But a burst of power, wind and mana tore past her ear, causing a deafening pop.
Crack!
Then suddenly, her reinforced exoskeleton of pure white and golden chitin made an eerie sound. Small cracks formed at first, before they expanded from her shoulder to her fingertips like spider’s webs, they spread, and the armour crumbled.
“Husband….?” Lumina called out to her husband. His aura grew each second; the feeling they wanted to teach him slowly exploded.
His potential growth direction became unstable.
Even the mana and aura from their attacks and the air began to swirl around his body, flowing into his muscles, aura and existence.
“Don’t worry. I won’t hurt you.”
He smiled, his teeth now sharp and demonic.
Lumina’s hips gave out after she dodged the first punch.
.
.
.
Pah!
“Hyaaan~”
“Who is never going to be cheeky again?!”
Pah!
Asmodeus stood with one leg lifted on a rock.
“I was wrong!”
Lumina lay across his thigh as she faced the ground. Her hips lifted in the air, by four black tendrils that grew from his back. He lifted his hand with a smirk, the red palm prints across her cracked and destroyed exoskeleton showing the situation well.
Serena still lay on the ground after the first blow, her breath more stable, yet she couldn’t help but look at her husband like an aggrieved little wife.
Pah!
“Husband, don’t fight. I won’t fight anymore!”
Asmodeus couldn’t help but smile. His body felt sublime. This form, which he could only hold temporarily to fight Ein or Zwei in the past month, now felt natural.
He could probably keep this form for a month, maybe a year, if he continued to absorb the natural energy from the world and mana.
His hand stroked her exposed, pale butt. Enjoying the soft, springiness as he pinched the plump fat and ticked the fluffy fur that grew near her waist and thighs.
“You swear it? What if you reach Rank Four? Won’t you naughty little girls try to fight again?”
There wasn’t any trace of the anger from earlier; instead, a calm washed over him the moment he first hit Serena. He’d fallen for their rage baiting and accidentally hurt her, the blow enough to kill anyone below Rank Three instantly.
Now he just tried to regulate the energy within his body.
He’d realised what they meant by potential, with Lumina choosing to focus her entire potential on her physical form. It granted her immense magic resistance, curse resistance and the ability to slip into domains unaffected for a certain amount of time.
Serena was the opposite, so her divine arts could probably kill him if he didn’t prepare. But her physical body couldn’t keep up with a pure combat type like his. However, she could use the massive amount of aura to heal or regenerate from most wounds.
‘Well, let’s stop here.’
As for his potential, it was a little complicated.
Whether due to him having several energies in his body, from Divine to the Abyss or Demonic, and finally the pearl of Death energy.
From his calculations and measuring himself from Serena and Lumina, he somehow increased his divine aura by 50% but he poured at least 125% of the amount Lumina did into his body too.
The death, abyssal and demonic energies empowered his body to a limit that shocked him; now he felt as if he fought Zwei again. He would need to activate his combat form. Or die instantly.
Regarding his divine arts and energy, it seemed to have doubled in amount, and his sanguine devastation could easily destroy a massive mountain with ease.
“I want to fight that woman again.”
His mind returned to Ein, who used Gravity as her power, with him finally reaching Rank Three completely. Asmodeus lost a lot of pressure, but soon the others would return from the dungeon, and he couldn’t keep teasing his wives like this.
“Asmodeus, my stomach hurts!” Serena finally complained while rubbing her stomach.
With a smile on his face, he lifted Lumina by her waist and walked towards his empress with a brisk pace, enjoying the little complaints of the Arachne in his hand.
It was cool to have his wives learn just how amazing he was.
