Capítulo 1940: First Time Teaching Oppertunity

Leaving Feng Chen’s home to find the elder that had been mentioned by him, Xuan Hao soon enough found himself making a trip to one of the branch sects located close to the sect’s borders with the Frozen Wastelands where it wasn’t odd to encounter demonic cultivators that had managed to make it through the sect’s first layer of defense. In a way, this branch sect was part of the sect’s second line of defense against the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wastelands. Essentially serving as wall that would deal with any demonic cultivators that slipped through the borders and managed to enter the territory of the set.

The elder that he was looking for happened to be the one currently in charge guarding this branch sect, the precarious location of the branch requiring at least someone in the Later Stages of the Domain Lord Realm, as the one guarding branch sect wouldn’t just need to deal with potential threats from demonic cultivators, but also ensure the safety of the disciples who took on missions to hunt down the weaker demonic cultivators that had managed to get through the border.

Among the responsibilities, guarding the younger disciples who generally came to hunt down demonic cultivators to both earn contribution points and get real combat experience facing off against demonic cultivators, was by far the most important, as generally, demonic cultivators above the Higher Demon Realm (Core Formation Realm) didn’t manage to get through the borders.

As for how this elder would react to him showing up… He had no idea, as he wasn’t exactly familiar with the elder in question. Having only met the other party once in the past and back when he had recruited the other to join the Star Shattering Sect. Everything after that one meeting had essentially been taken care of by Elder Song.

Elder Song truly was a divine being, able to take care of everything…

Smiling somewhat wryly to himself as this thought emerged, Xuan Hao spread out his divine sense to check on the situation inside the sect. Soon enough, finding the elder he had come looking for in the middle of a lecture.

From a single glance, it was clear that the other party had already prepared to take on the second tribulation and should just be waiting around for another elder to show up and take over the job of guarding the branch sect for him, something that would take another few days according to Feng Chen.

Or that was at least the case under normal circumstances, with his identity and influence, he had already arranged for someone to take over and guard the branch sect for the next few days while the sect elder was gone and the replacement hadn’t arrived.

“Master… This is the branch sect you told me about…?” The replacement he had arranged to keep an eye on the branch sect over the next few days revealing himself, as Chu Yang stepped forward with a somewhat hesitant look on his face as he looked towards the rather small branch sect in the distance.

The branch was so new that even at the border of the sect’s territory of the sect’s territory, it didn’t yet have a teleportation formation inside of it connecting it to the wider network that had been created by the sect.

“Yes! It’s a perfect place for you to consolidate what you learnt during your time inside the ascension realm tower by passing your knowledge on to the younger generation. Not to mention, I’m sure these juniors would be overjoyed knowing a senior like yourself is going to personally teach them about fighting demonic cultivators.” Smiling happily as he said this, Xuan Hao patiently explained the “reason” why he had brought his disciple to this remote branch sect.

“I see… Indeed, teaching others is a useful method for refining my own understanding…” Nodding his head, Chu Yang accepted his master’s words without a second thought, as the two of them soon made their way down towards the small branch sect together. Soon enough, standing at the entrance to the branch sect where a small disciple at the Foundation Establishment Realm blocked their path.

Of course, this little situation came to an end rather fast, as Chu Yang didn’t want to waste his time debating with a little disciple in the Foundation Establishment Realm. Directly pulling out his identification token, causing the little disciple to panic as he quickly apologized before stepping aside. Allowing the two of them to enter the branch sect with relative ease before finding somewhere to wait for the sect elder in charge of the place to finish his lecture.

After which, Xuan Hao managed to convince the other party to follow him back to the sect and the ascension secret realm with close to no effort, while he left Chu Yang behind to take care of the situation while he was gone. Ensuring that the safety of the branch remained intact with him around for at least the next few days before the one Feng Chen had mentioned showed up and took over the safety of the branch.

Not just was the sect elder about to attempt the second tribulation happy with this arrangement, but so was Chu Yang, who had begun looking forward to teaching others like a proper senior, something he hadn’t had much of an opportunity to do in the past, as he had either been outside the sect exploring on his own or off cultivating on his own or with others.

Never having ever thought about taking some time off to try and teach others what he had learnt over the years before his master suggested it.

Not to mention, it wasn’t like it would take that long either, as it was just for a few days. Allowing him to return back to the ascension realm tower and continue his challenge of the unique tower he had already grown to love due to the countless challenges it presented in the form of unique and difficult to beat demon beasts and other creatures.
