Chapter 1932: D-Day

…

The Day of the Concert.

The location that the entertainment company had chosen was not low profile at all. The venue for the concert was right at the heart of the Sun-Moon Continent and its capital city, the Sun-Moon City of their central region.

They had also booked the largest arena for the concert and made sure that this event was going to attract as much attention as possible. After all, this was the order that they had gotten from the higher-ups.

Moreover, it was a win-win situation for them, especially when they could earn a flood of money with all this. After all, the tickets were not that cheap for such a high-profile concert.

Adding that Alice herself was a young idol with a lot of fame around the world, the hype surrounding this concert was much greater than they had anticipated.

The Sun-Moon Continent was known to have the most advanced technology throughout the world, so the facilities and equipment that they had were much advanced than anyone else.

The largest arena in their capital city was capable of accommodating a whole lot of 300,000 people.

It was also known as the largest indoor arena in the world, the Penumbra Stadium.

Aside from this, the advanced technology of the Sun-Moon Continent was also capable of projecting a 3D projection for those who failed to enter the stadium. They could watch the concert live through these projections around the stadium as if they were watching an outdoor concert.

This made even the outside of the stadium fully packed, causing quite a traffic jam.

Even though the event organizers were fully prepared for everything, they did not expect that the number of people would be this large.

All sides of the stadium were surrounded by a lot of people, both young and old, carrying some light sticks and other concert tools that they could get their hands on.

The temporary stalls that were set up nearby were having a good business due to the flood of people.

Fortunately, everything was still very organized and stable.

This was all thanks to the advanced technology of the Sun-Moon Continent. The drones flying around were checking everything, while some experts were constantly sweeping their gaze at everyone.

This was not the first time they had experienced something like this, so they were able to quickly resolve all the troublesome situations before they could even get worse.

…

In the preparation room, Arthur, who was wearing a sleek and stylish attire, suddenly entered and said to everyone. “D*mn! Do you guys see what is happening outside? There are a lot of people! There is a sea of people!”

“Do you think that those guys will take advantage of this situation to cause trouble for us?” asked Leonard while turning to Shin.

Shin thought for a moment before shaking his head. “I highly doubt that they will cause a huge disturbance. Even if they have gone crazy, they will not involve such a large number of innocent people.”

This response annoyed Arthur deeply. They were such an exciting event outside, yet these guys were still focused on the mission.

They could just leave those troublesome things to their seniors and the professionals to deal with.

“Hey! Did you guys hear me?” said Arthur, jumping in front of the two.

The two, on the other hand, rolled their eyes at him before replying.

“What’s the big deal? Isn’t this what you are looking for?” asked Leonard.

“You always want such liveliness, so I am sure that you are quite excited,” nodded Shin with a somewhat ridiculing tone.

He then pointed behind them and said. “Since you have quite a lot of extra energy, at least take care of your ‘Junior Brother’.”

Following the direction where Shin was pointing, Arthur immediately saw Molton through the open door of the restroom, who was currently leaning on the sink, seemingly having just finished puking.

“Tsk! Tsk! This brat sure is weak,” he clicked repeatedly while patting the back of the poor boy.

Arthur patted Molton’s back while saying. “Hey! Are you fine? Are you sure that you don’t want to go to the infirmary?”

“I-… I’m fine. I’m j-just a bit nauseous. Maybe-… maybe I am too anxious,” answered Molton with great difficulty.

He was still fine earlier, but after seeing how large the crowd was that they would be performing in, he could not help but feel a bit afraid and anxious.

He seemed to be having a panic and anxiety attack at the same time.

Arthur could not help but shake his head for another after seeing that Molton started puking again. “Tsk! Tsk! Brat, you are a mentalist for heaven’s sake. How can your mentality be so weak?”

“You have to train your willpower a bit more,” he added with a sigh.

“D-don’t-… worry S-senior Brother. I-… I w-will be f-fine in a moment,” said Molton while stuttering.

Arthur doubted those words and could not help but ask. “Hey. Have you taken any medicine yet? I doubt that you will be able to make it in time.”

Smack!

It was at that moment that Cloe and Jillian arrived. The former hit the back of Arthur’s head, making his face almost dip into the sink where Molton’s punk has yet to fully sink.

“Whoa!” Arthur did his best not to prevent his face from falling while also saving his outfit from touching the sink.

“*%@#$” A series of curses comes out from Arthur’s mouth before glaring at Cloe. But he swiftly swallowed the rest of his words right after seeing Jilian beside Cloe.

“Idiot! You are not helping at all! Get out and do your thing. Leave him to us,” scolded Cloe, shooing him.

Arthur could only nod his head before turning to Shin and Leonard’s side, who were laughing at him.

“What a simp!”

Arthur sharply glared at the two but did not say anything until he reached them, and started bickering with them.

Lorraine looked at the three idiots and could not help but be a bit impressed. These three did not show any anxiousness despite such a big event.

It was different for Alice since she was already used to such situations. But the rest of the team would only be doing this for the very first time, so it was only natural for them to feel a bit afraid and anxious.

Even Lorraine had to admit that she could not calm her nerves after thinking about the huge audience that they would be having later.

After all the excitement these last few days, her anxiousness was also starting to kick in. Whenever she thought about the huge audience outside, she could not help but have goosebumps.

On the other hand, these three idiots seemed to be completely fine despite everything.

Even Shin, who hated to be in such a high-profile event, and Leonard, who had a humble background, were acting as if it was nothing.

But after she thought about it, she also found it quite acceptable.

Forget about Arthur, who loved to be in the spotlight.

Shin possessed such powerful willpower that it was natural for him to be able to handle such pressure.

Leonard, on the other hand, was quite used to performing in front of people since he regularly did street performances to earn some money.

Considering all these, Lorraine must admit that these three were indeed amazing.

It took a while for Molton to calm himself, but he was still able to make it in time. But there was still half an hour before the concert officially started, so the group was still quite worried that he would become ill again.

How they wish for the time to go a bit faster, so that they could finally start.

It was at this moment that Benedict suddenly entered the prep room and greeted everyone. “The time has come. I know that you guys are quite nervous, but rest assured that this will go well. After all, you all prepared for this.”

“Since this is a concert, we hope that you will enjoy the performance and do everything you can.”

“As for the other matters, you can just leave it to us, and we will handle it well. There is no need to put that much pressure on you guys; we, seniors, are all here!”

While he was making a speech, Dayna suddenly entered and smacked the back of his head. “Enough with the chitchat! Don’t disturb them. Let them prepare themselves!”

“You have your job to do, so stop acting cool! This is not like you at all!” she scolded before looking at the group. “I wish you all good luck!”

After that, she dragged her brother outside, returning him to his post.

…

In the meantime, somewhere at the outskirts of Sun-Moon City, a certain group of people was sneakily moving about.

“Madam Belladonna, we have already prepared everything. We can now head to the meet-up point,” reported an agent.

Belladonna took off her gaze from the lively city in the distance before nodding her head.

“That Butcher sure knows how to play it big. To think that he will choose the same day of the concert for our trade. He even uses such a place for our cover.”

“This sure makes things interesting,” she mumbled before turning around and heading deep into the wilderness.
