Many people called Fu Wan stupid for fighting with the owner of the safe base and even called her ungrateful because she was making things difficult for Bai Meiyue when she knew that the woman was helping her without asking anything in return.

Because everyone now knew that Bai Meiyue allowed Fu Wan to stay in the safe base even though she was not paying for her stay, many of the people living in the safe base looked down at Fu Wan and even held her in contemptuous regard. These days every time Fu Wan stepped out, she felt like everyone was looking at her and talking behind her back. Even when no one was paying attention to her, she was sensitive enough to feel like she was the one being pointed at.

Because of this, Fu Wan had gotten even more temperamental. She was filled with rage and didn’t have any let-out these days. This was the reason why she went to the bar of the restaurant even when the doctors told her that she shouldn’t drink any alcohol for the time being. Thus, when she found a way to vent, how could she not jump on it? So, when the new trainee refused to serve her, Fu Wan lost her temper right away and started slapping her.

She even berated her for acting above her station.

Xu Yiyi could listen to Bai Meiyue’s nonsense, as she was helping them out and even giving them a place to stay. But who was Fu Wan? Who gave her the right to slap her underling? She would never be at a disadvantage in front of such a young lady who did nothing but eat and sleep every day.

Thus, when she found Fu Wan, she rolled up her sleeves and started to deal with Fu Wan. She slapped her left and then right and she continued slapping Fu Wan until her face turned the size of a pig. At first, Fu Wan just wanted to resist but soon she got angry and started fighting back. She couldn’t fight back against Bai Meiyue but that was because she was a supernatural being but who was Xu Yiyi? Who did she think she was that she could beat her as she wanted?

Thus, like a hen ready to fight back, Fu Wan raised her head and rushed at Xu Yiyi.

She stepped forward and started fighting with Xu Yiyi.

It was because of this reason that this matter escalated to the point of no return.

Bai Meiyue looked at the two men who were staring at her nervously and pursed her lips. She tapped her fingers on the surface of the table and softly said, “It’s fine. “What are you doing?” she asked.

“Nothing, just taking a small walk,” replied Bai Meiyue with a twinkling pair of eyes.
