“Thank you, thank you so much,” said Bai Meiyue as she got to her feet, and before Xu Yiyi could tell her that she didn’t need to thank her, Bai Meiyue reached out and hugged Xu Yiyi tightly in her arms. Bai Meiyue simply smiled and turned around on her feet before heading back to the mansion with Xiao Wu. She handed the list to Xiao Wu and told him, “Go and take care of these people.”

After she finished speaking, she headed back inside the mansion, and Xiao Wu, who had just parked the car and stepped out, took a look at the list. The second he saw the information written on it, his eyes widened and his expression changed drastically. He forgot everything else and then chased after Bai Meiyue. The two of them entered the mansion one after the other, and Xiao Wu asked Bai Meiyue, “Who gave this list to you?”

Xiao Wu was really shocked after reading the name because a few of these people were left- and right-hand men of the two Bai brothers.

“Xu Yiyi did,” replied Bai Meiyue as she tilted her head and looked at the man behind her. The man looked unusually serious after reading the names on the list, and she knew that it was because two of them were his own underlings who had been promoted just a few days ago. “That’s why I asked you all not to look down on those women. Xu Yiyi and her girls know things that neither of us knows about. So you better stop looking down at them.”

“I never looked down at them.” Xiao Wu was telling the truth. He was born into a poor family and grew up stealing from people. His parents even asked him to steal more and even encouraged him to join the thugs of their street. The life that he had lived was not a good one, and there was nothing noble about his background. He himself had arranged many women for his clients, and even if he had never forced them, he had never helped them either. “That will be such a pity,” said Bai Meiyue as she leaned her cheek against her knuckles. She looked at the man who seemed honest and hard-working and clicked her tongue. Who would have thought that this man was just acting? Even she was fooled by his pretence. He was that good at it. But then again, no man came with the tag of ‘bad man’ unless caught.

She leaned back on the chair and simply said, “You can simply keep an eye on them. Even if you deal with them, more of them will come and that will only cause us to work harder. Just tell my brothers to change the entire security system and hide it from their people until we are done dealing with these jerks.”
