Capítulo 1378: No.8 Battlefield!

From MC’s Perspective

I followed the Assistant, Jairo. He was taking me to another stone building. I didn’t ask any questions. Instead, I started observing the surroundings.

The dust and smoke were still rising. But there was no sign of warriors or the foreign creatures. So where was that smoke coming from?

Soon, we reached another stone building. It appeared to be an office. Jairo went to the staff member and told him to register a new name for their camp.

The middle-aged staff member was surprised. He took a look at the young-looking man. He thought only one of the reserved warriors had come.

But it was not his position to ask, so he started doing the registration process.

Jairo then turned towards Zack Lockwood.

“I have a few things to tell you about the battlefield. I guess you had already seen the smoke rising from the surface.”

“It’s not on the surface. But it actually comes from the underground battlefield,” Jairo said in a solemn tone.

Hearing that, I was shocked. I didn’t expect there was hidden space beneath the surface.

“Warrior teams from other forces are fighting as well. You can either fight as a team member or solo. The choice is given to you.”

“You will face Silver and Gold Mark Level Foreign Creatures. The Purple Mark Level Creatures were forbidden to make a move.”

“Supervisor Ronan will be monitoring the place. If any Purple Mark Level Creature appears, he will block it. So don’t worry about it,” Jairo said in a solemn tone.

Hearing that, I was digesting the information. Jairo then provided the name and other details to the middle-aged staff member.

He then turned towards Zack and continued to tell him about the do’s and don’ts.

“It’s forbidden to kill a fellow warrior or a warrior from another Faction. I have heard there are a lot of people targeting you.”

“But on the battlefield, you must not attack the same side. You may deal with your enemies outside. Even if you accidentally kill someone, then other Universities and forces will demand strict action against you.”

“There are separate rules for the battlefield. Even Dean Jerome won’t be able to protect you from others. So you have no choice other than to attack and kill as many foreign creatures as possible,” Jairo said in a solemn tone.

The option of being a solo warrior suited me. The middle-aged staff member completed the procedure. He then gave me the uniform, badge, and booklets.

Jairo received them before turning towards Zack Lockwood.

“Here, take this and wear this uniform. You can use one of the staff rooms here,” Jairo said.

Hearing that, I understood that he was keen on sending me to the battlefield right away.

Meanwhile,

Supervisor Ronan was speaking to Dean Jerome.

“Dean, I sent that kid to the battlefield. I think he won’t cause any problems,” Ronan said.

“Don’t underestimate the kid. These families will definitely scheme against him. They won’t hesitate to sacrifice a few warriors.”

“If that kid falls into a trap, it would be difficult for me to rescue him. So monitor other factions,” Jerome warned him.

Ronan was surprised. He still underestimated the threats faced by that kid, Zack Lockwood. So he agreed to Dean Jerome’s words that he would take care of Zack Lockwood.

Admin Office

I walked out of the room wearing the silver and black uniform. The badge was a Star University badge with No. 8. It represented the warrior camp.

“Good, it’s time for you to enter the battlefield,” Jairo said.

Hearing that, I was confused.

I asked, “Whom do I have to meet?”

“What about the team?”

Jairo smiled and said, “On the other side, there is no one to watch over you. That’s what makes it dangerous. Like-minded warriors form groups immediately, while others act individually during the time of war.”

“Don’t worry, someone will approach you. If you like, you can join their team,” he added.

I digested the information. We walked out of the stone building. He quickly brought me to the next stone building.

Unlike the other buildings, this one was wide and spacious. But there appeared to be no room inside.

After walking into the middle of the place, my gaze fell on the stone pillars. My eyes glinted with understanding.

“Teleportation platform,” I uttered.

“You are right. It’s the entry and exit teleportation platform to the battlefield,” Jairo said.

I nodded to him.

Jairo then activated the platform. A blue-colored field appeared between the pillars.

“Once the battle is over, follow the crowd to come out of the battlefield,” Jairo said.

Hearing that, I said, “Okay.”

Then I walked into the blue portal. The next second, I found myself descending to some other place.

Before I could think further, I landed on the ground. I saw a blue portal in front of me. I looked at my location; I was standing between the pillars.

It appeared the teleportation area was protected by some layer. Then I walked into the blue portal and came to the other side.

Noise!

All types of noise reached my ears the next second. I raised my head and saw that the sky was dark. The ground was brown and mixed with blood.

Fire and smoke were rising. I saw 5-6ft tall warriors fighting against foreign creatures over 10ft tall.

The wild aura of the battlefield attacked my nostrils. Everywhere there were war cries and screams. No one was standing close to the teleportation area.

Everyone was busy fighting right now. I collected my thoughts. Then I took a face mask and wore it on my face. I didn’t want the warriors to know my identity.

If people with malicious intentions wanted to take me down, then I would be forced to fight them. The outcome could be anything.

So I didn’t want that to happen. It was best for the warriors not to know my identity. Then I took out a long white bone staff. I held it in my right hand.

Then I started walking towards the front line. While walking, I activated my perception ability. The surroundings up to 500 meters were clear in my mind.

My eyesight was sharper. I could see the area up to 500 meters clearly with every detail. There were no blind spots for me. I could attack and defend on every side.

Your gift is the motivation for my creation. Give me more motivation!
