Capítulo 1377: Warrior Camp No. 8!

From MC’s Perspective

Dean Jerome then told the Purple Mark Guard to drop me at the teleportation platform. There was no need to inform Faction Leader Clifford.

I felt bad, but I guessed Dean Jerome must have a plan in his mind. Then, the Purple Mark Guard started taking me to the teleportation platform.

Jerome’s eyes flickered. To be honest, he could easily read Zack Lockwood’s thoughts. There was a reason he didn’t want others to contact Zack Lockwood.

It was a tense situation out there. It was possible for the pawns hidden by the enemy forces to come out. He didn’t want to put Zack Lockwood in harm’s way.

He then shifted his attention back to the warrior camps and started calling the next supervisor. This time, the Star University was going to look empty without warriors.

He had also decided to lower the criteria for recruitment and recruit more warriors into the University.

Time went by.

The Purple Mark Guard brought me to the teleportation platform within an hour. The teleportation platform was located at a secret location.

There was no other living thing around for a few miles.

“I don’t know which top ten you are going to. But be careful. The warriors there are elites of our university. They are arrogant. Some of them have powerful backgrounds.”

“So don’t be defensive. Show your talent. Then some people will stop bothering you,” the Purple Mark Guard said in a calm tone.

Hearing that, I nodded to him. Then, he activated the platform. The two pillars activated, and a portal appeared.

The next second, I nodded to him again before stepping inside.

The Purple Mark Guard raised his eyebrows. He turned off the platform. Then he disappeared from the spot and appeared in the sky a few miles away.

“I was right. These dogs are everywhere,” the Purple Mark Guard uttered.

Now he understood why Dean Jerome wanted Zack Lockwood’s movements to be secret.

His eyes flashed with a cold glint. Then he darted out towards the annoying flies to eliminate them.

….

Meanwhile,

I felt my feet back on the ground. Then I walked out and found myself at the warrior camp. I swept my gaze across and found smoke and dust rising.

This was nowhere near the site of previous warrior camps. My gaze landed on the small stone buildings and many makeshift camps.

“Is this a battle site?” I asked myself.

“No. It’s not,” a middle-aged man’s voice sounded all of a sudden.

When I turned around, I found a bearded middle-aged man had appeared next to me. My eyes locked onto the dense golden aura.

He was a Gold Mark Warrior. My expression turned serious.

“Hi, my name is Jairo. It’s Warrior Camp No. 8. I’m the assistant supervisor here,” Jairo said.

My eyes glinted with understanding. Then I greeted him by introducing myself.

“Supervisor Ronan is expecting your arrival. Let’s go,” he said.

Hearing that, I nodded to him and started following him. The teleportation platform was inside a stone building.

Then we walked outside. I started observing the surroundings. There were no signs of warriors whatsoever.

Jairo saw my expression. He then said, “No one is here. Everyone was dispatched to the battle site.”

“Battle site?” I uttered in surprise.

Because I found no signs of battle whatsoever, except the smoke rising from the ground.

“You will understand soon,” Jairo said without turning back.

Then he brought me to another stone building. Compared to other stone buildings, it was bigger in size. We walked into the building.

I found several other auras of Gold Mark Warriors, but they were hidden. If the Assistant was a Gold Mark Warrior, then the Supervisor must be a Purple Mark Warrior.

I didn’t know which faction he was from. The advice of the Purple Mark Guard rang in my ears. We arrived in front of the office.

Assistant Jairo opened the door and entered inside. Seeing that, I followed him from behind. My gaze fell on an old man in his fifties.

I couldn’t see through him. It was enough to prove that this person was a Purple Mark Warrior.

Ronan saw through Zack Lockwood. Seeing that dense silver aura around that kid, he was stunned. How long has it been?

He had been hearing the name Zack Lockwood for some time, but he didn’t expect the kid to become a Silver Mark Warrior so soon.

“I’m Ronan, Purple Mark Warrior from the Blazing Fire Faction,” he introduced himself.

Hearing that, I calmed my heart and introduced myself.

“Don’t worry, the Faction fights remain inside the campus. We are Star University Warriors here.” After saying that, he asked us to take a seat.

We sat down opposite him.

“The top 10 warrior camps are different. The battlefield here is a common battlefield. You may find warriors from other forces on the battlefield.”

“It won’t be like those cave passages. So if you show your talent, you will get more resources. Otherwise, you will struggle to survive,” Ronan said.

I was digesting the information. It was new to me. I came here without any preparation. I didn’t know whether they were going to allow me to enter the battlefield right away.

Ronan thought of something, but he hesitated. Then he made a firm decision before saying, “Zack Lockwood, are you ready to enter the battlefield right now?”

Hearing that, my heart skipped a beat. I was right. The situation was more dangerous than I had imagined.

Assistant Jairo’s eyes flickered. He knew Zack Lockwood wouldn’t get special treatment. Everyone else was assigned to the battlefield, including the reserved warriors.

Now Zack Lockwood would have to do the same.

“I agree,” I replied without hesitation.

Ronan and Jairo were both taken aback. They were expecting some kind of refusal. But Zack Lockwood didn’t say anything; he was ready to go.

Ronan smiled and said, “No wonder Dean Jerome supports you. Some of the faction leaders are really short-sighted.”

“Jairo, give him the uniform and other necessary items. Then brief him about the battlefield before sending him there,” he added.

Jairo accepted the order. Then we walked out of the office room.
