Capítulo 1351: Busy City (Red Ridge City)
From MC’s Perspective
Trent Hotel
“Hello, I would like to book a room,” I said to the staff member.
Hearing that, the staff member collected his thoughts. He then fiercely nodded his head before starting the work.
He then asked for my name.
“Zack Lockwood,” I said with a smile.
The middle aged man who was typing the name was stunned. His heart set off storms because he recognized the person in front of him.
He raised his head and saw Zack Lockwood standing in front of him, smiling. His heart skipped a beat.
Now, he was sure that the person standing in front of him was none other than Zack Lockwood.
He immediately started the booking process.
Then I thought of something and told him to book a room on the topmost floor of the building. Maybe I could go to the rooftop to monitor the city.
It would also be useful for me to contact the Purple Mark Guard.
The middle aged staff member nodded his head.
He then called another staff member before giving the room key to me.
A middle aged woman came to the spot. The middle aged man told her to guide me toward the room. The middle aged woman was stunned as well.
Because she recognized the uniform of Star University. She then saw the emblem of the Thunderflame Faction.
But she had heard the words of the middle aged man clearly. She then started guiding me toward the top floor. The middle aged woman didn’t even speak for a second.
A few minutes later,
We reached the top floor. She then led me toward my room. Still, she hadn’t spoken a word. After arriving in front of my room, I nodded to her before opening the door.
Creak!
Then I walked inside and closed the door.
The middle aged woman then recovered her thoughts after hearing the door shut. Who doesn’t know Zack Lockwood?
She thought the news would spread soon. The Top 10 Faction warriors are famous among the public. She didn’t know what would happen in their Red Ridge City.
She then went back to the lobby. There, she saw the middle aged male staff member seated at the desk.
“Hey, is this real?”
“Should we inform the manager?” the female staff member asked.
“I already informed him. He left his home and is rushing toward the hotel now,” the middle aged man replied.
Hearing that, the female staff member sighed in relief.
“I’m sure tomorrow will be a busy day. I don’t know how long he is going to stay here,” the middle aged staff member muttered.
Meanwhile,
The Purple Mark Guard was standing on the rooftop. His gaze sharpened. He could not understand why the Dean was doing this.
He didn’t ask any questions at that time because he thought Dean Jerome had a plan. As far as he understood, it was not simply because of the spies.
He thought there was much more to it, but he couldn’t pinpoint exactly what.
“There is no point in thinking too hard. We will know in the coming days,” the Purple Mark Guard thought.
Time went by.
The next morning, I woke up from sleep. After getting out of bed, I started doing my morning routine.
The routine lasted for one hour. Then I decided to practice, but there was no training room here unless I used the paid training facilities in the city.
Suddenly, a good idea came to my mind.
Since I have come here to find the spies, if I make myself public, then the appearance of these people would be faster.
After gaining some clarity, I went to the bath to take a shower. I spent 20 minutes there before coming out.
Then I changed into another fresh uniform and started to get ready.
I didn’t know what the Purple Mark Guard was doing, but I was going to look for the paid practice rooms. Then I came to the lobby.
When I got there, I spotted quite a number of people. My arrival drew attention, and they turned toward me.
Among them, I recognized two faces. They were the staff from last night.
Suddenly, a man in his fifties came toward me. He appeared to be nervous. He was dressed in a tuxedo. He seemed to be the manager of the hotel.
He was absent last night. It looked like he heard about my arrival.
“Warrior Zack Lockwood, I failed to welcome you last night. I apologize for that,” the manager said.
Hearing that, my eyes glinted with understanding.
“It’s okay.” After saying that, I continued to walk toward the door.
The man sighed in relief. If it were other warriors from the Top 10 Factions, then they would have created a massive fuss about it.
He knew he was lucky to escape. The warrior happened to be Zack Lockwood, so he had escaped unscathed.
The manager’s eyes glinted. He hoped no one caused trouble for Zack Lockwood.
The staff were looking at Zack Lockwood leaving as well. But he was not checking out, which meant he was going to explore the city.
It was already hard to suppress the news. They thought it wouldn’t be long before everyone knew about Zack Lockwood’s presence here.
On the other hand, I left the hotel and came to the main street. I could hear the loud noises of vehicles and people.
Not far away from the hotel, another towering building attracted my attention. It was exactly the training facility.
Fortunately, it was so close. I didn’t have to deal with the people. Then I started walking toward that building.
At that time, the manager and a few staff members walked out of the door. They were curious to see what Zack Lockwood was up to.
Then they saw him crossing the street and approaching another towering building. That other towering building was none other than the training facility.
Seeing that, everyone understood. But they didn’t know what Zack Lockwood’s real purpose was.
“What is his plan for coming here?” one of the staff asked.
“There could be some mission,” a short haired male staff member replied.
“Whatever it is… we should not bother him,” the manager said to them in a strict tone.
Hearing that, the staff agreed. They didn’t dare to offend Zack Lockwood.
Your gift is the motivation for my creation. Give me more motivation!
